January
I went home early to grab some food, tired of eating outside food. The door opened and came in the twins.
"How was school?" I asked
"Don't ask me" Ella said throwing her backpack on the floor and stomping upstairs
"Ella, get back here. I don't need that attitude" I yelled as she stormed out. She never came back and went upstairs. Annoyed but too tired to get her, I finished making my food. I grabbed ella's backpack from the floor and it was half open. I grabbed her lunch box out and some papers fell out as well. I grabbed the papers looking over one particular one
Father daughter dance January 15
This is why she's annoyed, and giving attitude. I go upstairs to her room, knocking on it.
"Ella, can I talk to you?" I asked
"What?" She snapped
"Let's tone it down a bit" I said
"Yes mom" she gave a fake smile
"I got an email about the father daughter dance, why don't you ask uncle Matthew or uncle James or even uncle Lucas" I said pretending I didn't see the flyer
"But they aren't dad" she exclaimed
"I know they aren't but they love you so much." I replied
"I want dad there instead" she said
"I know you do sweetie" I said hugging her. I could hear the sniffles and I let her cry it out. I know how hard it is for her, missing out on all of these stuff. I stayed with her until she was fine, she was going to decide later if she wanted to go with one of her uncles. I went back downstairs, finished eating and headed back to work.
February
February is an eventful month for me. I have to go to France for a ball that I went with Stefan that one time. I have meetings over in France as well and then in Tokyo. Madeline was not going to do great and I am having Jenna come over to help her since she is a doctor and I know she's more comfortable with her.
Jenna is also pregnant and is due in November so she wants to get in more kids time so she is prepared.
I am currently at a fitting for my dress, it isn't a ball gown like the one last time, it was a lot more simple but still stands out.
Once I was done, I headed home telling the kids I would be gone for a week.
"Okay, so I have an announcement" I said
"We're going on vacation" Elijah said
"We're moving" Ella said
"We're getting another dog" Madeline said
"We eating cake for dinner" Anthony said
"Actually I will be going to France for a week. I have important work over there" I said
"What" they all exclaimed
"I will bring all of you back some gifts" I said
"But why do you have to leave" Madeline said
"I have work and aunt Jenna will be here" I said
"Aunt Jenna" Anthony said jumping up and down on the couch
"Why can't you stay" Madeline said stomping out of the room
"I'll be back" I said. I followed her upstairs to see her sitting on her bed
