We reached the club and everyone went inside first, then Stefan and I would walk together in as a married couple.
"You ready?" Stefan asked
"Yup" I replied
"Give it up for Alexis and Stefan Aveline" the person said on the speaker. We walked in together and everyone was cheering and clapping. We got to the table and sat down. Our family and friends around each other. We talked and drank and was having an amazing time
"Now we will have the father daughter dance. We will have be having Andrew her brother to fill the role it" the Dj said
I got up and looked over to Andrew who also stood up and we headed to the dance floor.
The music started and we both started dancing
"You look amazing" Andrew said
"Thank you" I replied
"I'm very happy for you, you guys look very happy together" he said
"I am happy with him" I replied
"That's good, thank you for inviting rylie and I. It means a lot to us, and this dance means a lot. I know we've had a rough past but I'm happy we reconnected" he said
"Me too, I was an only child and finding out that I have 5 brothers at least one of them turned out nice" I replied
He let out a small chuckle
"They really miss, seriously especially Ryan" he said
"Maybe I'll contact Ryan again, I don't know yet. I'll take it slow" I replied
"Take it slow, don't rush into it" he said
"Thank you, and thank you for being a good brother" I replied
"Anytime Lexi" he said
"I love you Andrew" I replied
"I love you too Lexi" he said
The song ended and everyone joined us on the dance floor. I was surrounded by the people I love and who bring me joy. There was 2 people missing but I know they were watching above
"May the bride and groom come to the dance floor for there first dance" the Dj said
Stefan got up and stuck his hand out for me to grab so we can go to the dance floor. We got to the dance floor and started slow dancing
"I can't believe we are actually here" I said in disbelief
"I know, it was like yesterday you were at the club for the first time" he replied
"I was underage technically, but thank god it was an after party" I said
"I forgot, that imagine if you got denied" he replied
"We would never be here" I said
"Thank god" he replied with a small chuckle
"I love you" I said
"I love you too" he replied
"Thank you" I said leaning my head on his chest, we were swaying
"For what?" He asked
"Everything" I said looking up
"Thank you for everything" he replied
We continued dancing and soon the song came to an end. We went back and ate dinner, it was filled with laughter and moments we wouldn't forget.
The cake was brought out and Stefan and I cut the cake. I saw the devilish eyes Stefan made and I knew what was about to happen.
Before I know it, it was too late. I felt the frosting smeared on my forehead
