Chapter 128-2027

January 1st, a hard day for a lot of us.

1 year without aunt Michelle and none of us have adjusted. It is weird not hearing her laugh, seeing her smile or smelling her amazing cookies.

All of my family were at my house, watching videos of Aunt Michelle. Tears were shed but there was also laughter.

"I can't believe she would always run with the spoon" James wheezed through all the laughing

All the videos she is running in the house is with a spoon and we don't know why

"She would smack us with that if we didn't listen" Jenna said

"Don't remind me, I still have an imprint of the spoon on my ass" James replied

"She never did it to us" I said high fiving Lucas

"You got lucky, but that doesn't mean I won't do it on behalf of her" Aunt Nancy warned

We continued watching more videos and laughing over them. We all miss her so much but this is what she wanted us to do. To come together and laugh instead of crying and mourning.

"Is that grandma michelle?" Elijah asked

"Yeah" I replied

"Hi Grandma Michelle" Elijah waved to the screen making us all laugh

The rest of the day was a good day, we had fun watching the videos and eating food. None of us were able to make Aunt Michelle's famous cookies

Fashion month was strange but not in a weird way. Madeline didn't want me to leave and was crying a lot but I had to go.

"How are the kids?" Gigi asked as we got our hair done

"Good, Madeline cried a bit more than normal. I think it's because I am gone for a while instead of a day or two" I said

"She might be developing separation anxiety. I know khai had a similar experience, but she learned and is more understanding" She replied

"I'll research about it, thank you" I said

"How are the twins?" She asked

"Good, going to be 5 this year which is crazy." I said

"I remember when khai was 5. Zayn and I had a midlife crisis seeing how big she was getting" she replied

"I'm going through that now" I chuckled realizing how big they are growing. The twins are wanting to change up their rooms, one side cars, the other side Barbies.

"The twins want the change their room. Elijah wants trucks and cars while Ella wants barbies and flowers" I said

"That should be a very interesting room" gigi replied

"I know, I'm debating to give them their own rooms, but they have always stayed in the same room" I said

"Would it be so bad to split them?" She asked

"I don't know how they react. Maybe if they are older" I said

"No rush, see how they will react and they like sharing then just paint the wall a neutral color and separate their side" she replied

"I will probably do that" I said

We finished getting ready and headed out on the runway.

Madeline was turning 2, the twins room was painted an eggshell color and one side was more purple pink with hints of yellow and green then the other side is red and orange with some blue and green. The room was very colorful.
