"Well where should I start?" I asked
"Right after you left" Aidan replied
"Well after a left I stayed in LA for about an year. I finished the rest of my school year there. I changed everything about me. Hair to brown, eyes to green, name, a small nose job, and more. That time you saw me at the cafe that was me with my dog rocky. Fast forward to the summer I moved to New York back into my old house with one of my friends. I went to FIT where I met another one of my best friends. I went to fashion week and that is when I saw you guys at the show which wasn't fun. Then as the after show we went to this club and my ex boyfriend at the time was pissed off and I didn't answer his phone. I called back and Stefan overheard. That is when I met Stefan. Then my birthday rolled around and the same ex boyfriend was being an asshole and was mad I was out for my birthday." I said taking breaks in between. I skipped the part of me wanting to get high again
"Then Stefan dropped me home and got into a fight with Jackson. Long story short I broke up with him and after that I went to fashion month. When I was in France, Jackson found me and I ended up getting hurt but Stefan was there..." I said
I told them what happened excluding some of my drug addiction but I did mention the time I almost relapsed around New Years and then when Andrew found me.
"That's pretty much it" I said
It was silent, no one said anything
"Wow, a lot of shit happened to you" Ryan said
"Yup, but I've pushed past it and it helped me in life." I said
"That's amazing and I'm truly sorry for everything we caused. I never knew how bad it was until now" Jaden said
He had a genuine face he wasn't lying
"Thank you, it means something knowing you have some sense of remorse in you" I replied
"I'm sorry, it didn't hit me till now knowing how much pain I caused even when you moved in with us. I should have never listens to Robert. I wish I opened the letters earlier" Aidan said
"What letters?" I asked
"Andrew never mentioned any letters?" He asked
"No" I said
"Well the night our mother took you away she gave me letters each one for our brothers. I wasn't suppose to open it till I was 16 and each of the guys were 16. After you and mom's disappearance, Robert would come home drunk, different women every night and would sometimes abuse me. As he continued to abuse me and when I started to grow I formed this hatred for you and mom. Then when I turned 16 I realized that it wasn't your fault or mom's. I went to Robert saying he lied which he quickly shot down and manipulated me into thinking mom never loved us so I made the brothers continue keep thinking that. 3 years ago I remember I had the letters because I started feeling guilty for everything I put you through and so I gave the letters to the rest of them. They realized it wasn't mom's or your fault and then we called off the search and kicked Robert out" Aidan said
I never knew Aidan was abused my Robert. No one ever mentioned it
"And you didn't tell me about the letters?" I asked Andrew
"It slipped my mind" Andrew said
"If we knew you were Lexi we wouldn't have kidnapped you and hurt you. We always saw you as Stefan's girlfriend" Aidan said
"Well now you know it's me Lexi" I replied
"Le-Anastasia, I am sorry. I really mean it. I know you can never forgive me but for all the pain and suffering I have put for the past years. I want to tell you how sorry I am. I wish I can go back and time and fix it and never let this happen. I wish I could have gone through it instead of you. I'm sorry" Aidan said with apologetic eyes
