2 days since the news
The past two days have consisted of pain, crying, yelling and no sleep. I have been at the hospital the whole time, never leaving no matter how hard matthew tries to tell me to go home.
I decided to call my brothers to question why the fuck would they break the allegiance. The betrayal I felt added to the unbearable pain. Nothing made sense why it's happening.
I also need to call Dr. Warner back, explaining my situation. It was hard to even come to the fact I'm pregnant... again.
"I brought you some food" Matthew said handing me a container. It was plain noodles and a Powerade
"Thank you" I said. I started eating the food and drinking the Powerade. My morning sickness is horrible, I have pelvic pain and worst migraine.
I finished eating and grabbed my phone. I hovered over aidans contact name, releasing a shaky breath. I clicked the contact, calling him.
"Hello" the words I heard on the other line. My breathing hitched and I wanted to end the calls, but I needed answers
"Why?" I asked
"Lexi, I can ex-
"My husband is dead because of you, my kids father is gone because of you" I said
"What?" He questioned
"He's gone, brain dead because of you and you don't have the audacity to call me and tell me. I have to call you instead to find out" I said
"This was never meant to happen" he replied
"Then what" I shouted
"Let me explain, where can I meet you?" He asked
"No, you will not come near me" I said
"I'm sorry, it was only supposed to be a raid. The russians and the greek wanted our help and were giving me better benefits. I didn't know stefan was going to be there" he explained. It felt like all I heard was lies
"You could have warned him at least so he wasn't there" I shouted
"I'm sorry, I didn't know he was going to be in there" he said
"He's gone because of you, and I will not let this go. Watch your back Aidan, blood for blood will happen. I will come for you and the others. Revenge will happen and at the end you will be begging for mercy" I said ending the call
I was serious, they will go down. Blood will be shed and it won't be from my side. I wasn't going to kill my brothers but I was going to crush them, bringing them down and watching them crumble under my watch.
"What did he say?" Matthew asked
"He helped attack because the Greek and Russian were giving them benefits so they would help attack." I said
"Bastards, I can't believe them. I figured out with Greek family it was, it was the Andino, they are the second best. They have been up our asses" he replied
"Like I said to Aidan, I will bring them all down. Blood for blood must happen" I said
"Don't worry, I will avenge his death" he replied
"No, I will. I don't know how or anything but everything gets handed down to me, including the mafia. This is my battle now" I said
"Stass, this is a big deal it's not a simple project. You have thousand of peoples lives in your hand, I don't think this is the right idea" he replied
"I will think more logistically later, but right now I've made up my mind" I said. Stefan passed it down and I know it's suppose to go to matthew but I need to bring the others down, making them suffer.
