"The person who bailed my father out was my mother" he said

"What, why would she do that?" I asked
"Because he called her, he begged to take him back and she did" he said
"She left you with that bastard and still took him back" I said
"I know, and the reason why she left was because he abused her and he forced her to keep me and my sister" he said not looking me in the eye
"Did he?" I asked not saying the word
He nodded his head
"Where is this piece of shit, I want to give him a peace of my mind" I said getting up ready to fight his bastard of a father
"Dead, I killed him" he replied
"Matthew" I said walking up to him and giving him a hug
"I killed my father" he said
"No you killed your sperm donor. He is nothing to you and he is an asshole motherfucker for hurting you and your mother is a shitty person for leaving you and then coming back to him" I said
"It just hurts to know that she left thinking it was better for me" he replied
"I know, you don't deserve this" I said
"He abused my mother and my sister. I didn't even know I had a sister or a mother in the first place" he replied
"God, I wish I can fucking kill that bastard again" I said
"I would love to see you go psycho" he replied with a chuckle

"I will do anything to protect you" I said
"Thank you" he replied
"Are you in contact with your mother and sister?" I asked
"They don't know I'm in the hospital or I'm going to rehab. I'm paying for the hotel for them until they are on their feet" He said
"Do you want to talk to them after?" I asked
"Maybe, but not now. It hurts too much to see them. To know my mother left me and went back to that bastard" he replied
"It's okay, take your time as much as you need" I said
"Matthew" the nurse came in
"Yes" Matthew replied
"It's time to take you to the center" he said
"I thought you're leaving tomorrow?" I asked
"Not anymore, they are discharging me early" he said
"Ok, well I will see you every family day and soon you will be home with us, you're real family" I said
"Thank you stassie" he said hugging me
"No problem, I love you Matthew" I said
He's like a brother to me, I'll always be there for him
"Love you to black sheep number two" he replied
The nurse took him and the bag to the center. I grabbed my stuff and headed home. I walked inside to see Stefan rocking Ella
"What are you doing here?" Stefan whispered
"Matthew got discharged early, he left for the center" I said
"Oh, he should have said goodbye" he replied
