Chapter 137-War time

My bag was packed and on my way to California. I went over the plan a couple more times, making sure it's perfect.

We are planning the attack for tomorrow, a random Thursday to everyone but not for us.

"Sleep, you're going to need it" Matthew said across from me

"Gotta make sure the plan is perfect" I said

"You did, it's been perfect for the past month" he replied

"Shh, let me work" I said

I went through the plan and texted Lucas to see how the kids are handling it. Madeline finally calmed down and is sleeping on their flight. Anthony was fine and so were the twins.

Once the flight landed we headed over to the house we rented out. We got food and I went over with everyone the plan, knowing it was happening.

"Ok, tomorrow the plan will happen. Team A will be with me at the house, team B will be at the warehouse. If this plan fails, it will be on us" I said. Everyone agreed and soon went back to their own place they were staying.

I ate some dinner and did some work trying to keep my mind off. I looked at the time seeing it's 10pm in Canada and I know they've landed. I dialed Lucas hoping he would pick up

"Hello" he said

"Hi" I replied

"The kids are fine, all asleep, Madeline was a bit more challenging but she's asleep, between Daniel and I" he said

"Lucas you don't know how much this means, thank you so much" I replied

"When Daniel and I have kids, I expect you to babysit" he said

"I will, don't worry" I replied

"Also Samantha deserves a raise, she's very great with the kids" he said

"I know, I'll be giving her a raise soon" I replied

"Good, hey Madeline is kicking Daniel. I'll call you tomorrow" he said

"Ok, tell the kids I love them and I'll be home soon" I replied

"Ok, bye" he said hanging up the phone. The past year with the kids I have been distant, not as close as I could be with them.

I stayed up late worked on some last minute details and then headed to bed. I got maybe 3 hours of sleep, no more than that.

I got ready and ate some food and waited till we had to leave. My anxiety wax the worst today but I wanted this day to be done.

I had multiple guns on me and knives. I was prepared for it, I wasn't going to lose.

"The vans are ready, let's go" matthew said

"Ok" I replied

We got into the vans, each of them going to the location. Our hacker got our name on the list so we would get into the neighborhood

"Ok, the silencer is on it. We shoot the guard, open the gate" Matthew said. Our men were going to take down the outside guards but I know people will notice and this will be a lot more work.

We got to the neighborhood and was easily able to get in. In 5 minutes we would reach the house, chaos would erupt.

"We're approaching" the driver said. I double checked everything and once I heard the gun load, the guard was down and the gate was opened. Shots started firing, they only guards outside were there so they didn't know we were coming.
