I went with Julia to help her put her stuff in. Stefan stayed home with the twins, giving us space.
"So are we going to your old apartment and getting your stuff?" I asked
"Yes, but you might have to do a lot because I can't really face Matthew right now" she said
"That's fine, I'm here for you" I said
"Thank you and I know you and Stefan are married and you're suppose to be on his side but thank you for being on mine" she said
"No matter if Stefan and I are married, or broken up I go on the side that is right and they both hurt you and I won't stand for that" I said
"Thank you so much" she replied
"Anytime" I said
I drove us to her old apartment and parked the car. We went upstairs, slowly because I know she didn't want to do this but she wanted to get it done with.
I grabbed her keys and opened the apartment. We went in slowly. It looks like Mathew isn't here.
We went over to her bedroom and started packing her stuff. We grabbed her spare suitcases and packed her stuff in those.
The door opened, we walked out to see Matthew with his suitcase and bags in his eyes. It seems like he just flew back home too
"Julia" he said
"She doesn't want to talk to you, we're just here to pack her stuff and go" I said
"You're moving out? We didn't even talk. Please let me explain" he begged
I looked to see Julia, she didn't want me to talk.
"I won't be staying with a cheater. I'll be paying for the rest of the lease" She said
"Please can we ta-
"No, not now. I don't know when" she replied
"Please" he begged
"No" she replied
I went back inside to go pack up the rest of the stuff. I finished packing her stuff and bringing the suitcases out
"Everything is packed" I said
"Please, let's talk" he said with tears streaming down
"No Matthew, what's done is done" Julia replied
I grabbed her bags and we headed out the door.
"Stassie please, let me talk to her" he begged
"No matthew, you messed up and you can't make it up" I said closing the door.
"Hey you're okay. It will get easier" I said hugging Julia
"I don't want to feel this pain" she said
"I know, it is hard but soon it won't. Remember you are strong. Now come on, you need some sleep and food" I said
We walked to the elevator and went to the car putting everything in. We drove to my old place and I helped her settle in. We still had furniture in here which is nice
"Ok, so I will be checking on you everyday. If you want to come over you can, you are welcomed anytime" I said
"Thank you so much" she said hugging me
