January
January is always a hectic month. For me everything renews and I always have to go over everything again.
"Let's go away for the week. I want to show you Greece" Tyler said propping himself up from the couch.
"I would love to but I have my kids." I said scanning the documents
"Take them, it can be a family vacation" he replied
"They have school and just came back from break" I said
"They aren't in high school yet, they can skip a couple of days" he replied
"Say we do go, how am I suppose to be out in town when no one knows about us" I said
"Since we have a peace treaty between our two groups, it will be fine to be seen out in public" he replied
"But the kids? People are gonna know and I've been trying to keep them hidden. Not only they will be seen but in Greece with us will stir stuff" I said
"Fine, let's just not go" he said getting annoyed
"Tyler, that's not what I mean. I want to go, I would love to go, it's just it's too complicated" I said
"I get it, I do. I just wish it wasn't this hard" he replied
"Me too, but I'll find some ways we can go. With or without kids" I said
"Ok" he replied
"And listen if I can't figure something out, we can go to a private island and just spend our time there. Like bora bora or the Maldives" I said
"That sounds fun" he replied
"I promise, we'll do something that fits in both of our schedules" i said. We are both busy and hard to find someone together.
My life has consisted of my family and work and I feel like I haven't been able to spend time with Tyler. Madeline's separation anxiety is getting better and I know she can handle this because she's getting better. Plus she has medication now for her anxiety attacks if needed
"Tyler" I said
"Yeah" he replied
"Let's go, me and you" I said
"What about the kids?" He asked
"Madeline will be fine, therapy is helping her. The others won't care much" I replied
"Are you sure? We don't have to go if-
"I'm sure, let's do it" I replied
"I'll start booking the places" he said. He grabbed his computer and started doing his work. I would tell the kids I have a work trip. What also sucks with Madeline is because of her separation anxiety, she's slowly hates going out and doesn't want to leave. She'll go to school and places but not too far from home which is gonna be a struggle. I want her to go places without worrying and be able to experience sleepovers and places she can go like school trips without her anxiety spiking.
"Now I gotta tell the kids" I said
"Do you want me to help you?" He asked
"It's fine, I gotta figure it out with Madeline first" I said
"Ok, if it's really bad on Madeline, we don't have to go" he said
"No, no I want to" I replied
"Ok" he replied
I found Madeline, watching some tv
"Do you want to go to the candy store?" I asked
"Yes" she exclaimed jumping off the couch
