Nicole's POV

I am not a fan of Monday's, especially this one in particular. Valentines Day was yesterday but I just want to barf as lockers had sticky notes of corny pickup lines scribbled on them.

I was finishing up some more emails until a knock caught my ear, "come in," I took off my glasses and pinched the center of my brows.

"Disrupting their english teacher's class with a sticky note that had a penis scribbled onto it and directed it at his butt. It escalated when they blurted 'two dicks, one stroke'... no comment," a security guard rushed out and shut the door.

I felt a twitch go off the side of my head and it fizzed...

"Olly, sit down," I let out a sigh before putting my glasses back on.

"Don't you wish she was here?" My eyes found Matt smirking at me and taking a seat.

"So, how was your Valentine's Day?" He starts again.

"You're full of shit," I scoffed a laugh and he smiles as well.

"Okay- let's cut to the chase, shall we? I trade you secrets about Olly so you can use to your advantage on getting back with her and I walk out of here clean," he gets right into it.

I caught something in my throat at this bribery, but then I remembered the conversation just weeks ago when I eavesdropped on his conversation with Mariana...

"I'll bite. What kind of secrets?" I sipped my coffee.

"The gift Olly got you for Christmas but had me throw it away because you broke up with her," he folds his arms.

He smirks knowing that got my attention, he's a slick one I'll admit. I can see him and olly being the best pair for trouble making: Olly being the mastermind and him having a certain flare about it. Although, Olly has some flare of her own...

"Helloooo," he intrudes my thoughts.

"If you think a small gift is going swoon me, try again," I cocked a brow at him.

"Well I don't think a custom made surf board that was handcrafted and imported from Hawaii with your signature engraved onto it is considered a small gift, but- eh, what the hell. Some women are materialistic in their own defined way," he shrugs helplessly and his stance changes.

"Oops, spoke too soon," Matt suddenly covers his mouth.

"No, speak," I became all ears.

"I walk free and I'll spill whatever you want," he shrugs.

"Deal." I tossed my glasses aside in defeat. Goddamnit.

"It was around... November? October? Okay- it was before the assembly with the whole 'ketchup scandal' and she had went out to a surf shop and got the board custom made. Knowing you, you're not the- spontaneous type. I don't even think you surf BUT Olly's mom taught her how to surf before- she abandoned her. I can see this as a way Olly deepening a relationship with you by opening up old wounds about her mom in a way with saying she trusts you- or the perverted reasoning: she wants to see you wet in ways more than one," he contemplates.

...that does sound like something Olly would do. I still feel bad for accusing her of being behind the incident...

"But the whole 'free olly' thing went down after you suspended her for shit she was nowhere near involved and idk- that's when she asked me to help her get rid of it. She was currently dating Mariana and had received notice that her board was shipped in. I helped her take it to a wood chipper and shredded that bad boy up. Kinda forgot where we went from there..." Matt's voice trails off.
