"Good morning!" Iida smiled, noticing that Midoriya and Shinsou were sitting in the kitchen. Midoriya was solving some Sudoku puzzles on his phone, while Shinsou was lying on the table, with a cup of coffee sitting right in front him. Upon closer inspection, Reiko was eating her breakfast, while Ryuto was settled on Midoriya's lap, somehow sleeping in a very cat-like manner.
"Morning..." Shinsou groaned, sitting up briefly to take a sip of his coffee, before lying back on the table. Midoriya looked up at the bespectacled boy, and nodded in acknowledgment. Iida grinned at him, before he walked over to the cupboard to get the cereal box.
"How are you feeling, Izuku?" He asked, grabbing a bowl, and Midoriya tilted his head slightly, thinking. Out of the corner of his eye, Iida noticed that Shinsou had lifted his head slightly, keeping an eye on the smaller boy, before the greenette nodded slowly, "Better..."
"That's great!" Iida nodded, opening the fridge to fetch the milk, before settling into a chair and making himself a bowl of cereal, "Anyways, have you finished the homework Ectoplasm had given out yesterday? The teachers have given us slightly less homework in light of the exams that are taking place in two weeks, but I guess that Mathematics is more about understanding how the formulas work and practicing."
Midoriya nodded, and Shinsou sighed, "Isn't he offering like... extra lessons in the afternoon for students who feel like they might need extra help?"
"Yeah." Iida nodded, "Are you going to participate?"
Shinsou shrugged tiredly, "I don't know. Maybe. Maybe not. If I feel like it, I guess. My Mathematics isn't that bad, honestly, so I don't think I'll do too badly."
"You should be more conscientious about your grades! You can always strive to do better and improve!" Iida berated, "I think I'm good enough with my Mathematics, but I might attend, just so that I can get the extra practice. And I need to make sure that Kaminari and Ashido attend their lessons!"
"You do you, Tenya." Shinsou sighed, "I just wished that all we had to worry about were just our final examinations."
"That's... a fair point." Iida looked away, "Well, we should just focus on one thing at a time. I'm pretty sure that neither Principal Nezu nor the teachers would allow us to be involved with anything unless they really have no other choice, so we should just turn all our attention towards the examinations, and once that's over, we can then think about the future!"
"I suppose so..." The lavender haired boy leaned on one arm, glancing up at the taller boy, before Iida turned to Midoriya, "What time is it?"
The greenette blinked, and glanced at the corner of his phone screen, "Six thirty seven?"
"Ah! I should go wake everyone up right now!" Iida finished up his cereal and quickly washed his bowl and spoon in the sink, before placing the milk back in the fridge, and speed-walked out of the kitchen.
Midoriya just glanced in the direction that Iida had sped off too, before nonchalantly turning back to his puzzle.
"You seem... awfully calm about this." Shinsou stated, sitting back upright. He took another gulp of his coffee, before leaning back against his chair, and turned to Midoriya.
"... Tenya's right..." Midoriya replied softly, after a few seconds of silence, "We don't know what's going to happen... not the teachers. Even Sir is trying to figure out what's going on, now that he found out that while Foresight might show him some parts of the future, it would only show him the most statistically probable future, not the one that is going to occur. And if even he isn't able to tell what's going to happen... it's just illogical to worry about a problem that we have no control over."
