Hi everyone!! I know I haven't been on lately. I was at camp this last week and took a bit of a break from Wattpad. To make up for it, I'm going to be doing a double update of all my stories. Enjoy!

"We interrupt this program for a breaking news announcement. A bomb has just gone off in a field right outside of Manhattan. Witnesses say that they saw a man driving an ambulance frantically into the field right before the bomb went off. Many have suspicions that the person driving was part of the FBI. We have no idea if this is in anyway related to the anthrax bomb threats from earlier today, but we are in constant contact with the authorities and you will know when we do-"

"Any word from Josh?" Lucas asked as he watched the headlines on the tv with the rest of everyone else in the hospital just outside of the waiting room where the nurse's desk was.

"Nothing. The bomb went off just a few minutes ago, maybe he's walking back." Farkle said.

"Without letting us know he's okay first?" Lucas asked. "That's not Josh."

"Alright, as soon as we're done gathering all the anthrax, me and Zay will head over towards where the bomb went off. See if we can see any sign of him." Farkle stated.

"Alright." Lucas paused. "Hey, Farkle-" He stared. "-whatever you find, be sure you head back to the hospital as soon as you can. Maya, will take the news easier if it comes from you." There was a moment of silence.

"Do you want me to tell Riley, too?" Farkle asked. Lucas felt a slight pain in his chest at the thought of possibly having to tell his wife if things turned out for the worst.

"Let's not cross that bridge until we get there." He told him. "But the offer is a bit tempting."

"I'll let you know as soon as we know something." Farkle said before he hung up the phone. Lucas sighed as he ran a hand through his hair before looking over towards the live footage that was coming from the sight of where the bomb was.

Firetrucks and ambulances were on their way to the seen to put out the fire as fast as they could. Hopefully they would find Josh alive, because he couldn't imagine the type of impact it would make on their team if he wasn't... He was afraid to think of how Maya would take the news.

"Excuse me, sir." Lucas stopped one of the doctors from going back towards the surgical rooms. "I know this might be a little early to ask, and I'm not expecting an answer right now. But my partner, Special Agent Maya Hunter, is in emergency surgery at the moment. And I was wondering if you could get me an update on her condition as soon as you can." He asked.

"I just got paged for that surgery. As far as I know she's lost a lot of blood and it looks like she might have some eternal damage. But I wont know until I get in there and find out." He told Lucas. Lucas sighed and nodded.

"Of course, sorry, I wont keep you any longer." He told the doctor. The doctor nodded his head towards him before rushing past and heading to the back. Lucas watched him disappear behind the swinging doors.

He paced the floors for a moment, saying a quick prayer for both of his team members before going over and sitting on the seat right in front of the nurses station, flashing his badge to anyone that even tried to come up to him and tell him to leave. He closed his eyes and squeezed them shut for a few seconds before grabbing his phone back out. He dialed a number and brought the phone to his ear, knowing that he would need to make contact with Riley before she turned on to see the news, if she hadn't already.

"What's wrong?" Zay asked as Farkle hung up the phone and turned towards him, they were both standing outside of the hospital, Mia down below with a bunch of other Agents and police gathering the anthrax and talking to Justin.

"Nobody's heard from Josh since the bomb went off." Farkle told him. Zay narrowed his eyebrows and looked off towards the direction of the bomb. As if he was going to see Josh walking straight towards them from that direction. "Lucas is starting to get worried." He said. Truth be told, they all were starting to get worried.

"Has he told Maya?" Zay asked. Farkle shook his head.

"Maya's in surgery. She was out of it when Josh and Lucas got to her. She doesn't know anything." Farkle said. Zay sighed. "Let's head towards the explosion sight, Mia can handle the anthrax and Simon." Farkle said. Zay agreed and they both headed to the car.

"Josh!" Smackle yelled. "Joshua Matthews if you don't answer me.... I'll call your mother!" Smackle said trying to threaten the only thing she knew that could get to Josh. She remembered a fun conversation that the whole team had about their worst fears, and Josh said his would always be his mother.

There still was no answer, and she couldn't hear any sound coming from the other line, but she hadn't been disconnected yet either, so she wasn't sure exactly what to think.

She was afraid to hang up just in case he was on the other line and could somehow hear her, but she also wanted to call Farkle and ask him what the heck was going on and tell him what happened on her end just in case he didn't know.

"Josh, I'm going to believe that you can hear me and maybe you're too hurt to say anything, because I refuse to believe that you are dead! This team needs you. You're the best team leader that we've ever had, and you're family needs you! And Maya, she's going to be so confused and scared when she wakes up. She'll need you to be there by your side! So you fight! You keep fighting and help will be there as fast as they can! So you hang in-"

The line suddenly went dead, cutting Smackle off from what she was saying. She hung up and immediately tried calling back. But this time there was no ring, instead it went straight to his voicemail. Smackle's hands were shaking as she hung up the phone and ran both hands through her hair. Without thinking, she grabbed her back and shut down all of her computers. She walked out the door and started making her way out of headquarters.

She needed to get to the hospital, she was tired of being in the dark and she wasn't going to let Maya wake up alone. She refused to believe that Josh was dead, and she refused to sit behind a desk and wait to be told.
