Hey y'all! So I'm currently writing more joshaya stories that I'm thinking about publishing. What I need from y'all, if you haven't on any of my other stories yet, is to comment down below and let me know which story of mine y'all like best. That way I can 1. Make my other stories better and 2. Apply that story to my new stories and try to make it just as good if not better. I hope this explanation makes sense! Haha! Love y'all!

Josh and I walked into the interrogation room, of course Josh had to go in front of me. It was in his nature to protect me no matter what the situation was. Josh flared at the suspect as he took a seat in front of him and motioned me to stay beside him. I rolled my eyes before slamming the file we had on him down on the table in front of him.

"Let's just cut to the case, Mr. Saunders. We know you know where those girls are. Tell us where they are and who are involved in the kidnappings and we'll cut you a deal." I told him as I folded my arms and studied his posture. He smirked at me.

"How's your shoulder, Agent Hunter?" He asked pointedly. Before I could reply Josh's hand came down on the table really hard causing me and Saunders to jump and look at Josh.

"We've done a thorough background check on you and we could put you away for life with as much as we have on you. Three cases of assault with a deadly weapon and two attempted murders in just the last couple of years. Your awaiting trials for those and now we have you on assaulting a federal officer, aiding and abetting three kidnappings and running an illegal camera. It would be in your best interest to work with us and not push me to beat your brains in over Agent Hunter." Josh seethed at him. I'll admit, it kind of turned me on to see Josh like this. Saunders rolled his eyes before looking away from Josh.

"I don't have a name."  He told us.

"Bull." I called him out on it causing him to snap his head up at me and slightly raise up in his seat.

"I don't!" He yelled directly at me as he stood causing Josh to stand up as well. Josh stepped in front of me and gave Saunders a death glare.

"Sit. Down." Josh told him through gritted teeth. I knew this Josh, and it would be in Saunders best interest to sit down before Josh made him. Saunders and Josh had a staring contest which made me kind of nervous and before I knew it my hand had subconsciously gripped onto the back of Josh's shirt. Saunders rolled his eyes and sat back down in his seat. Josh waited a few seconds before I released his shirt and he sat back down across from him.

"I don't have a name but I have a face, obviously. I can describe him to you. He came to be six months ago with a wad of cash and asked for my assistance. I'm broke, alright! This job doesn't exactly cover my bills. I'm also having to pay child support." Saunders complained.

"There are other ways to get money for those type of things. How would your little girl feel if she found out you were helping people kidnap girls her age." I told him remembering the file we had about his kid. The guy gave me a look.

"I don't know exactly what they're using the girls for." He said.

"Do you know where their location is?" Josh asked him. Saunders sighed before nodding.

"I know of one. I don't know if they are keeping them in one place or not." He stated. Josh slipped a piece or paper and pen to him.

"Write it." He said simply. The guy picked up the pen with shaking hands and started writing on the paper.

"Look just promise me one thing." The guy said. Josh looked up at him. "Promise me my kid won't be dragged into this. I would rather her life stay the way it is." He said. I bit my lip looking down at Josh. That statement almost made me think he had a heart. Josh nodded his head before picking up the piece of paper and standing up. I walked out first and Josh followed.

"Lucas and Zay, you guys take SWATT and raid this address. Smackle, take your tablet and head in there with Farkle to get the description of this guy from Saunders. Mia and I will notify the family's to come in and see if they recognize him. Maya you stay out here and observe Farkle and Mia. I don't want you back in there with him." Josh commanded me. I hesitated but then nodded my head knowing he was right. I didn't want to be in there with him either.

An hour later, everyone was scattered doing what they were supposed to while I watched Farkle and Smackle finish up with Saunders. I smiled at the way Farkle was positioned over Smackle. His posture screamed protect Smackle. It was almost the same way Josh had been doing with me earlier, except Josh has had much more practice than Farkle when it came to protecting me in situations. It had become like second nature for Josh to step in front of me and take blows for me. Unlike Farkle who you could tell wasn't very experienced, his body was slightly shaking and his hand would come over Smackles shoulder, Smackle would blush and for me to watch was almost comical. Their feelings for each other couldn't be more obvious to a trained eye.

Suddenly Smackle got up with her tablet and her and Farkle made their way out of interrogation.

"Well?" I asked as them met me outside. Smackle smiled.

"I'll run facial recognition and get a file on our mystery man." She told us. Farkle and I smiled at her as she said goodbye and went off to her office. Farkle tuned to me.

"That guy can be intimidating." Farkle said causing me to nod my head in agreement. "Which brings me to my question." Farkle said making me tilt my head at him.

"What's up with you and Josh? Because that scene in there was something." Farkle said. I shook my head and looked back into the interrogation room. That's when my heart stopped, my eyes widened and it's like things became slow motion.

"Farkle!" I practically screamed as I ran past him and into the room. Saunders was foaming from the mouth and was clawing at his neck. His eyes had rolled into the back of his head and he was jerking all over.

"WE NEED SOME HELP IN HERE!!" Farkle screamed before he ran in behind me. Farkle and I worked together to get him out of the chair and lay him down on the floor. I held his head steel in my lap and Farkle was looking around the room for any thing that he could have gotten ahold of.

"What the hell happened?!" I hear Josh's voice. Suddenly Saunders body becomes steel and his eyes remain open. I feel around for a pulse but when I couldn't find one I look up at Farkle with tears in my eyes.

"He's gone."
