Enjoy! I've never actually been to the Statue of Liberty, so if the information I'm giving you is incorrect I am really sorry!

I got out of the car and walked up to the boat that was supposed to take us to the Statue of Liberty. We showed the man our badges and he let us on the boat to take us. I looked over and saw Lucas take out his phone and start texting. I rolled my eyes and looked out into the water. My main priority is finding these kids.

After about fifteen minutes we got off the boat and walked up to the stairs.

"The mother said that they were making their way up to the top floor when she looked back and saw that her kid wasn't with her. She said she was holding her hand and then had to let go when they got up about half way, and then looked back and that's when she noticed she wasn't there." Lucas said as he looked up all the way up to the top. I sighed and shook my head.

"It was on a Saturday, the guy who runs the boat said that Saturday is the busiest day of the week. He usually has a couple of thousand people every Saturday that he brings up here." I said remembering the report that I read yesterday.

"People are busy so maybe the guy snatches up the girl, puts a hand on her mouth, tells her if she screams he'll hurt her and her mother and he walks down to the stairs, puts her on the boat and they leave." Lucas says shaking his head over to me. I sighed before grabbing the picture I had with me and going over to the guy who runs the boat.

"You recognize this girl?" I asked him as I he turned around and looked at me.

"Lady, I bring thousands of people to this everyday. I highly doubt this girls face will stick with me." The guy said. I rolled my eyes.

"Well try you might surprise yourself." I said as I practically shoved the picture in his face. The guy gave me a dirty look before taking the picture and looking at it.

"Nope, sorry." He said as he gave it back to me. I was about to say something but my phone interrupted me. I glared at the guy before turning around and getting my phone.

"Hunter." I spoke while looking over at Lucas starting up the stairs.

"Where are you!" Josh practically yelled at me making me wince and take the phone away from my ear.

"Stripping at a club. Where do you think I am!?" I yelled back at him sarcastically. I could practically hear his scoff.

"Don't get smart with me, Maya. You need to get back here right now!" He told me making me confused.

"Why? Farkle not enough company for you?" I asked him smartly.

"Maya I'm serious! I just took a look at your medical record and you just recently got stabbed!" Josh yelled. Oh I'll kill him. I looked over at Lucas who was oblivious to me talking. That son of a - he was texting Josh on the boat. That's why he had his phone out texting on the boat. "Maya!" Josh yelled at me.

"I hear you, Josh! Just chill for a minute." I snapped at him already planning my revenge on Lucas.

"There is no chilling, Maya! Why didn't you tell me about this!" He said making me scoff.

"Your supposed to be my new boss! After you took the job you were supposed to look into everything about your agents including their latest medical reports!" I yelled making him laugh.

"Maya don't even try to turn this around on me! You're the one who is going around on a hurt shoulder right now! Get back to the station and ice your shoulder now!" He demanded making me scoff.

"Not a chance! Right now our focus needs to be on finding these girls not my shoulder!" I yelled at him finally getting Lucas's attention.

"You either get back to the station now or I'm taking you off the case!" My jaw dropped.

"You wouldn't." I told him.

"Try me. I'll put you on a temporary leave until your shoulder gets better and tell the board it's a health problem." He threatened.

"I can't believe this." I told him shaking my head. "You couldn't get me out of the FBI when we were dating and now your trying to do it through being my boss." I said. I knew that was a low blow but right now I didn't really care.

"Don't be ridiculous, Maya. You and I both know that's not what happened. If you're not back at the station in one hour your off the case." And with that the line went dead. I put my phone in my pocket and pointed at Lucas.

"You're dead, Friar." I told him making him shake his head.

"Trust me, Maya. You'll thank me later." He said before continuing what he was doing. I sighed before going over to the guy beside me.

"Take me back to the dock and then come back and get him." I told the guy.

The entire time I road back in the boat I kept thinking about this case. Josh was being ridiculous and I can't not be taken off this case. It was not an option for me. I looked over at the guy driving the boat and looked down beside the motor.

"You usually keep cameras on here?" I asked him as I noticed the tiny little camera that was hooked onto the boat. The guy looked down at it.

"Helps keep track of people." He shrugged. I narrowed my eyebrows.

"I thought you didn't do that. You know, thousands of people of day and not really noticing anyone." I told him. The guy gave me a look.

"Lady do you have a warrant?" He asked me. Bingo.

"Nope." I shrugged.

"Then don't get in my business." He snapped at me. I smiled.

"Got it." I said before looking back over to the water. I waited a few minutes before snatching the camera and taking the sd card out of it before putting it back where is was. I slipped the card in my pocket before the guy looked back at me a suspicious look.

"We're here." He said as he parked the boat and let me out.

"Thank you." I said before walking to the street and calling for a taxi.
