The traffic was horrible. It seemed like that even the sirens weren't helping for Farkle and Zay as they blared it and honked their horn to try and get people out of the way.

"Damn it!" Zay cursed. "If I had the time I would get out and arrest every single person out here!" Farkle ignored him as he had his phone pressed to his ear with his eyes narrowed in concern. He sighed as he got voicemail again. "What's wrong?" Zay asked as Farkle hung up his phone.

"Smackle Isn't answering her phone." He told him. "One of the other Agents said that she just left the office without even saying anything to anyone."

"That's not like Smackle." Zay commented. Farkle shook his head.

"No, it isn't." He stated. He put his phone down for the time being as he focused on driving. They should be getting to the explosion sight pretty soon, traffic was still bad, but it seemed as if people were finally starting to notice the siren as they made to get out of the way.

"Just up ahead." Zay said as he pointed towards where ambulances and fire trucks were stopped. Farkle pulled the car over and he and Zay both got out and ran straight towards where some of the paramedics were kneeling down over what looked like a body.

"We found him like this as soon as we got here. It looks like he jumped out of the ambulance and hit his head pretty hard on the way down." One of the medics said as they made some room for Farkle and Zay to come near.

Laying on the ground with blood on the side of his head was Josh. An immediate relief washed over Zay and Farkle as they knew he wasn't dead.

"Will he be okay?" Zay asked.

"Should be. He'll have one hell of a headache when he wakes up. He probably has a concussion and he'll need stitches. But he's pretty lucky for someone who missed death by only a few seconds." The paramedic told him. He motioned for a gurney to be brought to them so they could lift Josh into it and take him to the hospital.

"I'll head in with Josh." Farkle said. Zay nodded his head before going to get a report from some of the eye witnesses that were standing by and talking to some of the other police officers as well as news workers.

Farkle looked over and picked up Josh's phone from the ground, which seemed to have gone dead. He pocketed it and made his way into the back of the ambulance with Josh before he brought his own phone out and started trying to call Smackle again, only to get no answer. He sighed and hung up.

"Farkle." Josh mumbled as he opened his eyes and squinted them because of the light of the ambulance. "Farkle." He repeated, much clearer this time.

"Hey, I'm here." Farkle said as he tried to stare at Josh and move his head around the medic that was hooking an iv to his arm.

"Maya." Josh mumbled again.

"She's in surgery. Lucas is with her." Farkle answered.

"The bomb, and Simon." He mumbled again, it was as if he was trying to get all his thoughts together and in one piece.

"You drove the ambulance into the field and hit your head pretty hard as you jumped out. But nobody got hurt during the explosion thanks to you. Mia and some of the other Agents have Simon and are taking him into custody. They're also getting rid of the anthrax." Farkle explained. Josh nodded.

"W-where am I?" He asked as he licked his lips.

"We're on our way to the hospital. You need stitches from banging your head. You probably have a concussion as well. But you'll be okay." Farkle told him.

"S-Smackle." Josh mumbled again. Farkle narrowed his eyebrows.

"Smackle-she said-she told me-" He stuttered through his words. He must have banged his head hard.

"You spoke to Smackle?" Farkle asked. Josh nodded and winced.

"S-she was on the phone with me. Before the explosion." Josh said.

Farkle frowned. If Smackle heard the explosion go off while she was on the phone with Josh, then that would explain why she wasn't answering her phone. Smackle was tough, but she wasn't used to field work. That would have been the first time she came close to it. He could only imagine how she felt right now, she probably though that Josh was dead.

"The two of you-you're getting married." Josh said. Farkle blushed and looked away. Smackle really must have thought he would die if she were to tell him that.

"Oh-um... we just- we haven't talked much about it since I proposed but-" Farkle stuttered.

"I think its a great idea." Josh said. He grunted as they took a sharp turn. Pain erupted and held his ribs a bit. He must have bruised them during his fall. "I'll try to-to make it to where-neither one of you have to leave." He said. Farkle was stunned for a moment before letting out a small chuckle.

"Not an answer I would expect from team leader." He said. Josh grinned.

"I'd be a bit of-of-" Josh swallowed hard as he was trying to get his thoughts together. "A Hypocrite to tell t- the two of you to stay away from each other. Besides, I don't want to imagine what Maya would do to me if I- I were to let one of you go." He said. Farkle let out a small laugh and nodded his head.

"You just focus on getting rest for right now. We can talk about that later." Farkle told him.

A few minutes later they made it to the hospital. They opened the doors of the ambulance. Josh started to sit up from the gurney. He took a moment to gather his thoughts together and to take a moment to breath before he looked up at the paramedics.

"I don't need this." He said as he motioned to the iv in his arm. "It's just a head injury and some bruised ribs." The paramedic hesitantly nodded his head before he grabbed the iv and started to gently pull it out of his arm.

Josh sighed and looked over towards Farkle. He had a bandage wrapped around his head where he had hit it. He gently got out of the ambulance with Farkle's help.

"After I get checked out and then check on Maya, I want to go back to headquarters and talk with David." Josh stated.

"You think you're up for that?" Farkle asked him.

"Doesn't matter. You saw what he did to Maya, I'm not going to let that go." He said.

"He's already in custody, Josh. What exactly do you plan on doing?" Farkle asked.

"Don't worry about it. I just want to talk to him. I've been wanting to face him ever since I found out what this whole undercover thing was really about." He winced. "But first-I should really get my ribs wrapped." Josh told him. Farkle nodded and helped him start walking towards the inside of the hospital.
