"Where are we going?" Maya asked, a little on edge as David led her into the woods. His hand was right around hers, and she started to feel more and more uneasy with each step they took.

"I just want to show you something. When I was a kid I used to come here all the time. It was my place of refuge when everything in my life was going crazy." He told her. Maya watched him for a minute as he led her closer and closer to wherever they were going.

As they continued further into the woods, Maya noticed that it was the perfect place for a hideaway. Nobody would ever in their right minds come this far into the woods unless they knew exactly what they were looking for.

As they crossed a clearing, Maya looked up and noticed an old shack like house that was sitting there. It was was old and rugged, it had holes everywhere and some places the wood was rotten.

"I know how it looks," David said as he came up from behind and placed his hands on her shoulders, creasing lightly. "But it's an old childhood favorite. I call it the old warehouse. A lot of my shipments come through here so nobody can track or see them." He told her. Maya rolled her eyes while he wasn't looking. "Come on, I'll show you inside." He told her.

He grabbed her hand again and pulled her to the front door. He pulled out a key and unlocked the door, stepping back and allowing Maya to go in first, which she did very hesitantly.

Once she got inside, she let herself take a look around. It looked just as old and wore down on the inside as it did on the outside. But that wasn't the first thing that Maya noticed. There were tables lined up all over the walls and what looked like meth and cocaine. There was equipment set up and it honestly looked like a makeshift chem lab that he had built out here. This must have been where he made his drugs.

"Wow." Maya stated as she started to turn around to face David. "How much do you-" WACK!

Maya saw stars as she hit the floor, her face stinging in agony, her head pounding. She looked up only to be met with a kick to the face, causing a loud crack to be heard and blood flew everywhere as her head was thrown back and her body collapsed. She groaned as she brought her hand up to her nose in shock. But she didn't get much time to recover and let reality sink in of what just happened.

David reached down and grabbed her hair, pulling her up onto her feet causing her to grown in pain. Her hair was in a fist full of his hand as he pulled her head back roughly so that she was looking at him face to face. He was looking at her with pure hatred and anger.

"You lied to me." He seethed out through gritted teeth. "I would have thought that seeing what happened to Michael would have been a good indicator of what I would do to you. But no, What I'm going to do to you will be so much worse."

Keeping one hand in Maya's hair, the other one went to her back and he threw her roughly into a shelf that was holding glass, they all shattered and cut Maya even more. David didn't give her anytime to recover as he walked over and pulled her head back again by her hair, and he turned her around and slammed her face into the mirror that was hanging, shattering it.

Maya could hardly see through the blood that was clouding her vision. The pain was almost unbearable as she suddenly felt white hot all over. She was hurting so bad that it almost felt numb with pain. David through her to the floor and started kicking her ribs. Every time he spoke, he did it with another kick.

"I-loved-you-and-you-betrayed-me!" He yelled at her. Maya couldn't hold back her yells and groans each time he kicked her. She was sure he had already broken a few ribs, not to mention her face.

David took his jacket off and threw it at the wall as hard as he could. He got down onto his knees where Maya was laying and pulled her into a sitting position by her hair. He put his mouth right where her ear was, and they both were breathing hard.

"I know exactly who you are." He whispered. "Special Agent, Maya Hunter." He mocked her name. "At first, I was sure the way you acted was familiar. It took me finding out who you were to put together that you were on Carries team." He said. "And your little team that was there at the charity event, I'm going to blow them all to hell."

He slammed her back against the floor, causing her to screech in pain. Maya leaned over on her side and coughed up the blood that she felt curdling in her throat. David grabbed her arm roughly and handcuffed her wrist, cuffing the other part to a metal pole that was in the shack so she couldn't get lose.

Maya let her head hang, she felt like she was going to pass out at any moment, she was surprised she hadn't already. Her mind was full of fog and everything in front of her had become blurry.

"J-Josh." She mumbled out and David glared at her.

"Oh yeah, I'm going to take my time with him. He's on the top of my list." David told her. Maya was able to get her head up just enough to look at him.

"J-Josh- h-he'll stop you. W-we all will." She told him. And with all her might, she tried to give him the best glare she could under the circumstance. David's eyes bored into hers.

"I really did love you, you know." He told her. "I was so looking forward to a future with you. After Michael betrayed me, I set it upon myself to dig further into your background. It didn't take me long to track down who Michaels team was. And when I did, I tracked them even further back, and that's how I came upon you. It's such a shame that I have to kill you, I would have preferred you lived." Maya groaned as he pressed down on her ribs with his foot.

"But you didn't only just betray me. You turned Max against me. My own nephew. My family. You got him to help you, and now he must die because of it." David told her.

"No!" Maya gasped out. "Do whatever you want to me but leave Max out of this!" She yelled at him, and David pressed down even harder on her ribs causing her to yell out.

"You did this to him!" He yelled out. "I'm going to have to kill him and it's all your fault!" Maya couldn't believe it as she looked up at him. He was actually crying. "My nephew, my family. Dead because of you." He stated. Maya shook her head at him.

"I hate you, I hate you, you son of a bitch." Her tone was of complete loathing. David got off of her ribs and walked over to where a make shift stove was, where they had been making the drugs.

He turned it all the way up, causing the propane to go all the way up. Meaning in just minutes, this place was going to sky rocket into flames.

"No matter how many Agents you people send to me, one day you'll realize, that I always win." David said as he glared at her. "Go ahead and scream all you want to, nobody will be able to hear you from all the way out here. And by the time someone does find you, you might be lucky if they even find a finger."

Before anything else was said, David walked out the front door of the warehouse, leaving Maya alone with all the flammable drugs.

She moved her wrist, in false hope that somehow maybe she would be able to get free. But she couldn't, so she tried to reach out to the propane gas stove and try and turn it off, but she was just out of reach. She slumped back against the floor and groaned. She just hoped that Max got to them in time.
