I still feel a little out of sync like I was dreaming. I sighed, standing in the hallway with my arms crossed. Staring at a closed door, I reached out turning the knob and slowly pushed it open. My eyes danced around the room taking in everything. My mom's room. I walked in sitting on the bed and just looked around.

The light shined through the window brightening it up, my mom was in love with the windows. She loved simple and bright. Ever since I came back, I thought about her a lot, well I always think of them, but it was different this time, she wasn't here.

Everyone has been tip toeing around me and treating me like a ticking time bomb. Many of my vampire friends have been stopping by, dropping off things like 'glad you're not dead' care packages. For weeks I've been meeting with king Calum, Henry, Chantry and Kerbie so we could fix things like my death story Kerbie wrote. My cause of death was falling off the tower. Ironic.

I've also been hanging out with the family, I got to talk with Roman about him and Aimee moving to Italy, I was quite proud of Rome. He's come so far. I finally got to meet Kassie's daughter Sophia; her birth was treasured.

"Hey Vi." A voice said, I turned seeing Nick holding the cordless phone, he stopped at the doorway and looked around then back at me. "You're packing up Mom's room?"

"Not yet I um was thinking about it. "I told him making him nod sadly. "What's up?"

"Oh uh Dawn called." He said waving the phone. "They're having water pipe trouble."

"Okay well I guess we can go check it out." I told him standing up. "We'll discuss Mama's room later."

He nodded.

We grabbed our bags and headed out the door.

It turned out the Summers had a leaking pipe in their basement, Joyce tried to fix it and ended up breaking it more, water sprayed down from different places.

We sat in the kitchen. Nick, Willow and Tara sat at the table, Joyce and I were standing at the counter. Dawn and Buffy were standing at the door, looking down at the running water.

I stared at the sink, watching the water run down the drain.

"Man." Dawn muttered in awe. "How much water can they fit in one set of pipes?"

"If I understand right" Tara told her. "The entire city water supply."

"It's like little clown cars in the circus." Willow said.

"Told you we should have called the plumber." Buffy said looking at Joyce, sitting down at the isle with us.

"You were right." Joyce told her. "The plumber will make everything good..."

"Dawnie you're not eating?" Tara asked.

"Dawn, breakfast is the most important meal of the day." Joyce told her.

"Tori and I went hunting earlier but if you wanted to, we could go get something, the blood will be settled by then." Nick said offering.

"Awe" I heard Willow, and Buffy say while I kept staring at the water.

Buffy turned off the faucet, giving me a concern look. I looked back at her; blinking confused and glanced back at the sink wondering why I was so stuck on it.

"Yeah, um we can grab something." Dawn said hiding her blush.

Xander and another guy came up from the basement, I looked over at them.

"And a big Sunnydale round of applause for Tito the Amazing, plumber extraordinaire." Xander said making us look at them.

"So how's everything looking down there?" Tara asked.
