(Tori POV)

My eyelids felt heavy and struggled to flutter open, as if they were glued shut.

There was a tightness in my chest, all of my limbs felt as if they weighted more than they should. My entire body ached.

Slowly my eyes fluttered open but slammed shut again, unable to deal with the stress of blinking.

There was a pounding in my head that felt like a jack hammer and I could taste blood.

I gently used my tongue and grazed it around my mouth feeling my fangs smooth as always but there was a taste of rubber.

Straining to open my eyes, they finally cracked open, everything was blurry but after a few blinks they cleared.

I laid there for a few minutes trying to remember what happened.

I glanced around finding myself in my room, the blinds were drawn on the windows making it almost pitch black, looking at the time it was mid-morning. I noticed there was what we called a blood bag hanging up and a tube. It was similar to an IV bag with a long tube that was usually taped on the inside of the mouth so blood could drip down the throat.

We only used the bag if it was a serious injury, since we're not human we couldn't use a hospital even if we had vamp doctors, we couldn't risk being exposed, we heal quick and that would definitely give us away big time. Whatever happened must have been really bad. What happened to me? Why was I here?

My arms wobbled weakly underneath my body attempting to push myself up.

"Ow." I muttered quietly feeling a sharp pain in my chest, collapsing back in my spot.

My hand moved to where the pain was and suddenly remembered everything.

We went after Caleb last night upon Buffy's genius idea...Spike got knocked out and I got stabbed... by a Bringer.... all images came flooding into the back of my mind.

Spike.... where was Spike? I frowned in panic.

I ripped the tube from my mouth and sat up forcing myself up, looking around the room and swung my legs over the edge of the bed just sitting there for a minute.

I glanced down seeing I was dressed in a loose fitting black shirt and a pair of my fuzzy pants on this wasn't what I wore to the battle. Someone must have changed me.

I warily glanced down, lifting the shirt noticing a white gauze bandage right above where my heart would be.

It wasn't the first time I've been stabbed but it was the first time being so close to a vulnerable spot.

Pulling the bandage off, I could see a nasty scar, it wasn't completely healed yet, I frowned.

"Fk-ing pastor." I muttered in pain, sneering at the idea. "I hate preachers."

I knew that the scar would never go away, I also know that just because I have fast healing doesn't mean I couldn't have died...again...I'm not invincible.

"I really hate when that happens." I muttered to myself.

Hearing the door open I quickly put my shirt down, fixing myself and looked up seeing Spike enter. I sighed in relief.

Spike's head lifted; his brows were furrowed, before he saw me and a flash of worry crossed his face, his eyes were red and looked puffy almost like he had been crying, he came over sitting beside me.

"You're awake."

I just stared at him smiling lightly.

"What time is it?"
