Same Time, Same Place

It was an exciting day Willow was coming home from England today, Giles took her there with him for witch rehab, my great aunt Carissa helped her out as well. Carissa was part witch herself, so she knew how hard it was to control the magic. She was very kind to help one of my friends. 

Anyway Buffy, Xander, Dawn and I were at the airport late at night to pick her up. I left Olivia back at the house with Nicky. 

Xander was holding a white sign with 'WELCOME HOME WILLOW' written on it in yellow crayon. 

"You think she'll get the sign." He asked nudging me. 

"Get the sign?" Buffy repeated looking at it. "I don't think she's gonna see the sign."

"Why is it so pale?" Dawn asked. 

"I used yellow crayon." Xander told them. "It was a thing from when Tori and I talked to Willow on the bluff, I really hope she gets it." 

"Oh, tell us again what you said." Dawn said sarcastically.

"Well Tori was talking from her heart, and we both knew evil Willow wasn't really ready to...." Xander trailed off before realizing Dawn was messing with him. "You were kidding."

"Mm-hmm." Dawn said smiling. "A little bit." 

I grinned lightly at my best friend. 

"We've heard the crayon speech a few times." Buffy told him. "Not that it's not great, of course." 

"We saved the world with talking from our mouths." Xander retorted gesturing to the two of us. 

"Uh huh."  Dawn said nodding nervously. "I'm getting nervous. Are you nervous?"

"Yeah." Buffy told her. "It's gonna be weird seeing her, what do you say to someone in this situation?"

"I'm gonna say 'Hi, Willow." I told them. 

"C'mon." Buffy said tilting her head at me. "you're saying it's not going to be the least bit strange? We saw her kill someone, she was about to kill all of us." 

"Because she lost someone she loved." I retorted giving Buffy a look. "She watched the love of her life be killed right in front of her, no one in their right minds would let that go or forget it...I know what she's going through more than anyone." 

Buffy looked at me guilty. 

"Plus, Giles wouldn't let her leave unless she completed that whatever recovery course." Xander said backing me up. 

"Right." Dawn said nodding. 

Buffy and I shared a look making Dawn look at us. 

"Right?" 

"She kinda didn't finish." Buffy told her. 

"She didn't finish?" Dawn asked. "She didn't finish not being evil?"

"Carissa said it was really important that she come back early and that she was doing really well, and we shouldn't worry." I told her. "My great aunt has been a witch for over two thousand years, she knows what she's doing." 

"Guys, I just noticed something." Xander said making us look at him. "Everyone's off the plane, so where's Willow?"

I looked around the place but couldn't see Willow anywhere.

Walking into my house, it was pretty late at night around 10:41

"They absolutely put her on the plane in London." Buffy said walking in as I closed the door behind us.
