Lie To Me*

I walked into the library with Buffy and Roman as Ms. Calendar was walking out.

"Any encounters last night Buffy?" Giles asked.

"Nothing vampirey" Buffy said.

"Uh, Victoria uh, I've been researching your friend Spike, uh from what it says is fairly unappetizing. But I-I still haven't got a bead on why he's here." Giles told me.

"You'll figure it out." I said sighing, biting my bottom lip. "Maybe I'll talk to Angel, it's his grand-progeny...he's not a fan of talking about his past but maybe he'll tell me if I'm the one asking."

"Yes, that sounds like an idea." Giles told me glancing at Buffy who seemed to be preoccupied. "Buffy you alright? you seem a little, glum."

"I'm fine" Buffy responded.

We turned walking back out and stopped outside the door.

"Why don't you take the night off" Giles said. "And let Victoria patrol tonight."

"Okay, that'd be nice" Buffy said.

"You could spend some time with Angel." I told her.

"I don't know, he might have other classes." Buffy said and walked off, I looked at Giles and shrugged, smiling Rome and I went to follow.

"Victoria um..." Giles said. I turned back looking at him. "You're okay too, right?"

"I'm fine" I told him smiling and walked away.

In class, I was passing notes with Buffy and Willow. ( Willow, Buffy, Tori)

"Do you know who she was?"

"Well, it seems like Louis XVI was just sort of a weak king." A boy said to the teacher.

"That's fair enough uh, any other impressions?" The teacher asked.

"No dark hair, old dress pretty."

"Vampire?

The bell rang before she can answer us, so we gathered our things walking out together.

"I don't know, I don't think so, they seemed pretty friendly." Buffy told us out loud.

"Who's friendly?" Xander asked.

"No one" Buffy said.

"Angel and a girl" Willow said.

"Will, do we have to be in total share mode?" Buffy asked.

"Buffy, it's Xander we sort of tell him and Roman everything" I told her.

"I'm glad someone has a happy" Buffy said.

We walked into the lounge, sitting down on the couches.

"Aw you just need cheering up." Roman said.

"Dance party at the Bronze tonight" I said suggestively. "We need some serious happy time."

"I'd suggest a box of Oreo's dunked in apple juice, but maybe she's over that phase." Someone said

Buffy uncrossed her arms and turned around to some brown-haired guy.

"Ford?"

"Hey, Summers!"

Buffy got a huge smile on her face, jumping up and rushing to hug him tightly.
