There was a rainstorm tonight, there were thunder and lightning flashing my second favorite type of weather sadly I was not very happy.  I could be having amazing Spictoria time or hunting with my cousins. They were still here for the wedding. Hunting during a rainstorm is thrilling and our senses are more powerful but no, here I was standing in my walk-in-closet with Buffy and Willow feeling like I wanted to tear Anya apart.

"It's hideous." Willow said horrified. "Look at its arms!"

We were standing in front of my large mirror staring at our dresses Anya picked. They were extremely ugly dresses of made out of shiny teal fabric Buffy and mine had short sleeves while Willow's had elbow-length. There were ruffles on the sleeves and on the skirts from knee length to floor. Each dress had a large green flower over the heart. Buffy's hair was up in a bun with a large white flower. My hair was still up in a towel drying.

"Det är hemskt." I muttered earning confused looks, I rolled my eyes a little. "I said It's horrible, what is Anya thinking?"

"I know but it's our duty." Buffy told us bravely. "I'm....Buffy the bridesmaid."

"Duty-schumuty." I told her disgustedly. "I'm the maid of honor, I  gave Anya and Xander unlimited money to do whatever they wanted, I even gifted a paid honeymoon in Paris, allowing them to use our house there and gave them more money so they could go shopping or whatever. The servants have been preparing the house for them and this is what she's making me wear?"

"You have servants?" Buffy asked looking at me in shock.

"Of course, we do. The Paris house was my grandfather's favorite, he had it built himself as a gift to my grandmother when my mama and aunt Freya were born." I said shrugging. Seeing her face expression. "What? my grandparents were from older times, how do you think we take care of all our houses?." I turned back to the dress. "But this! This is unacceptable! If Anya wasn't one of my friends or marrying one of my best friends, her face would be getting a makeover."

"Tori calm down."

"No! I'm Victoria Northman, I have a thing for appearances." I told her sternly staring at myself. "At least she could have made an exception and let me wear a black one. I can't believe Lala agreed to make these, her style is so much better than this."

"I'm supposed to be best man." Willow added like it was a matter of fact, staring at me. "Shouldn't I be all...Marlene-y in a dashing tuxedo number?"

"No." Buffy and I told her in sync.

"Oh." Willow muttered pouting.

"That would be totally unfair." I told her. "We must share equally in the cosmic joke that is Bridesmaid-dom."

Buffy walked out sitting on my bed, I followed quietly, moving to open the window for a while to enjoy the breeze and sound.

"Just promise me when you and Spike get married, you won't make us look like we came out of the 1920s" Buffy said making me look at her raising an eyebrow.

"Who said we're getting married?" I asked removing the towel around my hair and tossed it in a basket.

"Well, you let him move in with you." She said pointing to one of the packed boxes in my room. "That's pretty much the next step, isn't it?" She looked around. "Where is he anyway?"

"I made Nick take him to Lala's with him." I told her crossing my arms. "After that talk I had with Nick, it looks what I said worked and they're airing out their issues, I'm not expecting them to be best friends like they were but Spike is my mate and Nick's my brother, out of everyone around me those two have to get along."
