61 Chaeyoung's Family

Lisa's POV

At the hospital

"WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?!", Jeongyeon screamed at Momo and Sana who just arrive

"We went to the airport, any updates from his condition?", Momo asked and Sana ran towards Tzuyu

"None of the doctors and nurses were coming out since when they brought Chae to the emergency room", I answered

"Are you okay?", Tzuyu asked his girlfriend and Sana nodded

"WHAT DID YOU FUCKING DO IN THE AIRPORT?! WE'VE BEEN TRYING TO REACH EACH ONE OF YOU BUT YOUR CHEAP PHONES WERE OUT OF COVERAGE!!", Jeongyeon suddenly punched the wall

"W-What happened?", Nayeon stared at us confusedly who also just arrive

"Chae was involved on a car accident", I answered

"And Mina just left a few hours ago", Momo interrupted which made us took a glanced at her

"WHAT?!", Jihyo gaped at her in utter shock

"What do you mean by she just left?", I furrowed my brows

"I decided to visit Sana at their villa but Mina suddenly called to ask if I could fetch her at Chae's condo and brought her to the airport 'cause she's going to Japan", Momo explained

"Why did she go at a time like this??", I asked

"She wanted to stop on what her father has been doing to all of us. She couldn't fake it anymore that everything's okay around her and not doing anything for us"

"And yet Chae's been involved on a car accident?! Or it was also planned?!!", Jeongyeon glared at her

"Would you mind to calm down first?", Nayeon interfered and he walked out

She was about to follow him but Dahyun told her to give him some personal space to cool down for a moment which made her obey.

"He isn't going to die, right?", Sana started to cry

"He isn't", I forced a smile on my face and distanced myself from them to dial someone's number

"Hello? Auntie?", I covered my left ear with my left hand to hear her voice clearly

"Lisa?"

"Yes, it's me---"

"Where's Chaeyoung?", Mrs. Son cutted me off

"Is he okay?", she added

"I want to talk to my son, will you give him your phone?"

"I called to tell you about Chaeyoung. He was involved on a car accident. Those people who've witness the incident immediately called an ambulance and rushed him to the hospital"

"WHAT?! IS HE OKAY?!! WHERE IS HE??"

"He's still in the emergency room and neither of the doctors nor the nurses were coming out since when they enter the emergency room"

"H-Huh--- please take care of him and send me the address of the hospital 'cause we'll go there right away"

"Okay auntie", as I hang up my phone

I headed back to the emergency room and saw the doctors finally coming out which made us approach and surround him.

"How is he doc?", I asked

"Who's the patient's family?", the doctor asked which made all of us raise our hand in unison and he didn't bother to asked anymore

"His conditon is now temporarily stable and he must proceed to blood transfusion due to losing a lot of blood from the accident. Also, we're already running other medical tests needed for him before it gets serious"

"Does he need the blood transfusion right away?", I asked worriedly

"It must be done today", he answered

I nodded and he left when I thanked him for doing his best to save my bestfriend's life.

"What was Chae's blood type", Nayeon asked

None of them answered and I pretended like I also didn't know 'cause Chae's family is the only one who can give him the same blood type that he has.

"I want to see him", Tzuyu break the silence

"Me too", Dahyun pouted

"We aren't allowed to go inside, right?", Sana asked

"Unless you're his relative", I shrugged my shoulders

"Can't we at least peeked at the door?", Nayeon suggested which made us stare at each other and opened the door slightly to peek

"Chae! Wake up!", Jihyo whispered

"Don't scare us like you're already dead", Nayeon added

"You don't seem to be handsome when you're just going to lay down there", I said

"And you all better stop peeking at the door now"

We suddenly heard an unfamiliar female voice which made us look behind revealing the nurse glaring at us with cross arms.

"S-Sorry", we apologized in unison and bowed

Time Check: 9:00 pm

We decided to stay in front of the emergency room even if some of us already fell asleep just to guard Chae.

I heard my phone rang which made answer the call when I saw Mrs. Son name at the screen.

"We just arrived in South Korea, how is he?", she asked

"We're still waiting for the results of his tests", I answered

"Are you alone? Are you already tired?"

"I'm with my friends auntie and I'll never get tired when it comes to him", I laughed awkwardly

"Did you eat already?"

"We didn't have the appetite to eat 'cause he's still not waking up"

"We'll be buying foods then, please wait for us"

"Thank you auntie, we'll just be here", I said and she ended the call

"Who called you?", Momo suddenly asked

"Chae's going to have a visitor so please follow my lead when they arrive", I said seriously and they nodded

A few hours later..

I noticed a lot of men in black suits were running towards us and familiar faces which caught my attention to be alarmed. I stood up and kneeled down but the girls didn't copy me.

"Is it necessary to kneel down for them??", Momo asked but I tried my best to ignore her and pointed at the emergency room

They headed straight to the emergency room as we followed them from behind.

"Poohtah"

"Are you feeling okay now?"

Mrs. Son mom sit beside him and hold his hand.

"Don't worry my son, everything will be okay 'cause we're already here", Mr. Son stared at Chae from a distance

"Who are they?", Nayeon asked

I cleared my throats and started to introduce them formally.

"This is Mr. Son Seulgi and his wife Mrs. Son Irene"

"This two were his sons named Son Jimin and Son Seok-Jin"

"They're Chaeyoung's family"

"Chaeyoung? Family?? Who's Chaeyoung?"

They stared at me confusedly and give me a we're-not-in-the-mood-to-joke-around-look but I answered with a I-also-don't-have-the-time-to-joke-look.

We end up shrugging our shoulders and roll our eyes at each other.
