"Do you have any updates from Jeongyeon?",   Dahyun asked and we took a glanced at Nayeon

"What?? Why are you all looking at me?",  she asked in an annoyed tone

"Stupid 'cause you're his girlfriend",  Momo rolled her eyes at Nayeon

"I'm not his girlfriend", Nayeon furrowed her brows

"So you're only dating him without any label?",  Momo smirked

"It's not like that!!"

"Why don't you just answer our question to where is he?"

"I-I don't know either! H-he didn't tell me anything and we barely talk to each other now since when the accident happened",  Nayeon looked down

"That's why you wanted me and Dahyun to fight yesterday?",  Momo smirked and Nayeon rolled her eyes at her

I received a message which made

I took out my phone when I felt a vibration from my butt and read the message I received.

He's still unconscious. What time are you
coming here?

You sent a message asking about his condition but you've just seen zoned me when I ask back, how nice of you.

A few hours later, I received a message from her again.

I'm already here in the waiting area

I turned off my phone and told them that I'll be meeting someone in the waiting area but all of them just stared at me like they didn't heard anything.

I saw her staring blankly at the glass wall and sit on the opposite side which made me face her and notice my presence.

"Miss me?",  I smirked

"I miss him",  she pouted

"Okay, I'm leaving now",  I joked

"Please, I ain't in the mood"

I looked at her and her eyes suddenly become teary which made me speechless.

"M-My dad just died a few days ago"

"Chae's case was confirmed to be an accident"

"But my father's instinct were telling him that the car collision was a plan"

"I begged him to investigate Chae's case because it's the least that I can do for him to prove my love. My father followed his instincts and not because I wanted him to. He asked a lot of people who've witnessed the incident and there's a lady who told him that she saw a guy went to the cab but didn't bother to seek help. A few days have passed.. He called to tell me about someone's been trying to kill him and I could hear he was panting heavily then before the day finally ends he died",  she started to cry

"I-I'm sorry for your lost, did you tell anyone about what your dad knows?",  I rubbed her back

"Just the three of us",  she answered

"Don't tell anyone else about it 'cause your life might've been put in danger. For now, let's stay silent 'cause everything's still a mess"

She nodded and suddenly handed me a letter.

"What's this?",  I stared at her

"Please, give it to Chae when he wake up. I wrote everything what my father knows about his case and my last words for him 'cause I'm going back to the province"

I took it and we waved goodbyes. I approached Auntie when I enter the room and give her the letter.

"What is it?",  she asked

"From Chae's admirer and she asked me a favor if I could give it to him but he's still unconscious"

Auntie accepted it and hide on her bag.
