Shawna's POV
I finished my third show at the garden and exited the stage with Derek.
"That was so fun!" He hugged me.
"I know! I love it here," I smiled.
"Me too," he patted my shoulder. "I'll see you later."
I walked over to Justin and hugged him.
"That was amazing," he kissed me.
"Thank you," I smiled.
"Shawna," Scooter came up to me. "I'm afraid I have some bad news."
I let go of Justin and listened to Scooter.
"Jessie is in the hospital and it isn't looking to good," he said.
I felt the tears instantly. "I have to go see her."
"Shawna you can't, she can't speak or move. Shes just getting worse and it's going to kill you to see her like that," Justin said.
"I HAVE TO SEE HER," I screamed as the tears fell.
I started to walk away and Justin grabbed my arm. I stopped and didn't look.
"Just let her go," I heard Scooter whisper. "We can't stop her."
I moved my arm away from Justin's grip and went to pack some clothes. I called in the plane and headed to the airport with Derek.
"I'll be here tomorrow to pick you up," he said.
"Okay, thanks."
"No problem. Make sure you get some rest, we have a show tomorrow night."
"I know," I smiled slightly.
I boarded the plane and laid down on the couch. I caught up on some sleep on my way to Michigan. When I arrived in Michigan it was 3:00 am and I stopped to get some coffee. When I got to the hospital it was 5:00 am. Molly was already awake, or maybe she hadn't been sleeping. Jessie was sleeping.
"You didn't have to come," she spoke quietly.
"Yes I did," I smiled slightly.
"Well I'm glad you did, because it's not looking too good. I brought her in because she had a seizure at home. Now they're saying she only has a couple weeks," Molly said with tears in her eyes.
All I could do was hug her, I cried as well. We talked for a few hours and then Jessie woke up. She couldn't speak very well and she had little hearing. It took all of my strength not to cry. I spent the whole day with her.
"Jessie, I have to go. I have a show, but you have to promise me that you're going to fight and stay strong. I will see you in three days, when I go on my Christmas break before I head back home. I love you sweetie," I smiled.
I hugged her and then hugged Molly. I headed back to the airport. On the plane I tweeted asking for prayers for Jessie. I cried almost the whole way back. She was suffering and I couldn't help. It was 1:30 when I got to New York and we left for Washington DC.
"How was Jessie?" Justin asked.
"She's terrible," I sighed.
"It'll be okay Shawna," he wrapped his arms around me. "You can get through this."
I laid my head on his chest.
"So much bad news, I can't handle it." I cried.
"Just close your eyes, take a deep breath, and calm down. You're with me, just relax baby girl."
For the first time in weeks I felt relaxed. I just laid there with Justin and took in every second, I just relaxed and cleared my mind.
