"Carter laughed for the first time yesterday," Justin played with my fingers. It's 5:30 am and we haven't slept. "And uh it sounds just like yours."
I laughed and played with his hair. "I miss my handsome little guy."
"He's so cute, he has your smile. Which makes me miss you even more."
"Justin it's only been two weeks, imagine three to six months." I wanted to cry.
"I'm going to miss you so much," he buried his face in my chest.
I played with the soft hairs on the back of his neck. "We'll be fine," I whispered.
I kissed him and he trailed kisses down my stomach and stopped once he reached my leggings. He bit them with his teeth and pulled them down. I ran my hands down his body and he licked me. I widened my eyes and dug my nails into his shoulders. He began to rub me and I felt a sudden relief.
"More," I begged.
He licked each of his fingers individually. He pulled me leggings back up and laid beside me again.
"WHAT THE HELL?" I got up and grabbed his shorts. I pulled them down and started to feel him. He rolled his eyes and took deep breaths. I smiled in pleasure and licked my fingers.
"No baby more," he pushed my head down.
I kissed him and pulled his pants back up. Justin opened his eyes and climbed on top of me.
"You little shit," he said.
"I thought we could both be tortured," I laughed.
He pinned my hands to the bed with his and kissed my stomach. It tickled and I wiggled under his gentle touch. He laid down and I laid on his chest, listening to his heart.
"I feel so complete with you here," I said.
"I know baby, but I have to go home."
"When?" I looked into his beautiful brown eyes.
"Soon," he kissed my forehead. "Now get some sleep."
I laid my head back down on his chest and I fell asleep. When I woke up, he was gone and we were in Idaho. I buried my head into the pillow and cried. I missed Justin. I missed my kids.
I sat up and pulled myself together. Just two more weeks, I can do this. I got out of bed and went to wash my face. I brushed my teeth and went out to the living room of the bus. I made myself a bowl of cereal and some fruit and sat down at the table.
"Justin left early this morning," Scooter said to me. "He said he'll call tonight before your show."
"What time did he leave?"
"Around 6:00ish," he said.
I nodded and silently ate my cereal. After I was finished I went to the scheduled rehearsal we had. Derek wasn't there.
"Where's Derek?" I asked Rachel.
"He said he would be here in a few," Rachel said to me.
I nodded and began to stretch. Derek came in about five minutes later. He started to warm up beside me.
"You doing okay this morning?" I asked.
"Yeah, and Shawna." he said. "I'm not going to press charges or anything. I deserved that last night."
"No you didn't," I said. "That was childish of Justin, but thank you for not pressing charges."
"I know what it's like for you guys to be under all that pressure, I may not have lived it myself but I watched someone very close to me go through it."
