Justin laughed at his own joke, and I couldn't stop smiling at him. I was silent though.
"Baby, what's wrong?" He asked.
"I have to tell you something. And you might be mad, but I want you to listen. Don't speak or do anything until I'm done speaking, okay?"
Justin got serious and nodded.
"One of my dancers, Derek, he kissed me. After the show tonight. I pushed him away quickly, and it didn't mean anything to me. I didn't want to hide it from you, I just wanted to let you know that it happened and I told him I was married and that he better not do it again."
Justin was silent. The call ended. When I called him back he didn't answer.
"Scooter," I went out to the living room of the bus.
"Yeah honey?"
"Justin's mad at me," I said.
"Why? What happened?"
"Derek kissed me and I told Justin because it's the right thing to do," I sat down.
"You did the right thing. Don't think too much about it, he's probably thinking right now. Just wait," Scooter rubbed my back.
"Don't worry about anything," Alfredo reassured me. "Everything will be fine. It was a kiss that meant nothing. If you need me to, I will talk to Derek."
"No that's okay, I already did."
"Okay, we'll go get some rest. You have a show in two days. Don't worry okay?" Scooter said.
"Okay," I hugged him and then went to bed.
I didn't sleep. I thought about that kiss. Derek was attractive but I didn't want him to be ruining my marriage. It was just a small kiss and Justin overreacted.
It was 4:30 when I finally fell asleep, too exhausted from my own thoughts. When I woke up at 11:00 I showered and brushed my teeth and hair. We arrived in Seattle, one of my favorite cities. I got dressed in some warmer clothes since it was November and it's cold.
We went all around the city and at the end we stopped by Century Link Field and watched the Hawks practice. Scooter, Alfredo, and I talked with Pete Carroll until practice was over.
"Shawna so good to see you again!" Russell said to me.
"You too! Looks like another good season for you boys," I said.
"Oh yes! No time to sleep," he winked.
"Are you ready to beat the Niners?" I winked.
"OF COURSE WE ARE!" Lynch shouted from across the indoor field.
"Yes we are," Russell laughed. "Well I'm going to go change, and we can take a few pictures after."
"Okay," I smiled.
Sherman threw a football to me and I caught it. We tossed it back and forth for a few minutes.
"So I'm coming to your show tomorrow night," Sherman said.
"Oh yay! I hope you enjoy it," I smiled as I threw the ball in a perfect spiral to him.
"Of course, it's you!"
I laughed a little. Russell came back out and Lynch and him joined our little game of catch. I took pictures with the boys and left about an hour later. We went to the hotel.
As I was getting ready for a movie with Scooter and Alfredo there was a knock on the door of the hotel room.
"Who is it?" I said.
