Chapter 42: Back To The Future

Shawna's POV

"So," Justin said as he rubbed water on my shoulders. We had been sitting in a bubble bath for almost an hour now. The kids were asleep and I sat in between Justin's legs and laid back against his chest. "What do you think about settling down?" He asked.

"I thought we already did?" I asked as he soaked my other shoulder and I watched the bubbles go down my bare chest.

"No I mean, let's really settle down. No tours, no nothing. Just us and the kids, maybe we can try for another kid," he said. "I just want a family and I want to have time for it."

"You know what," I said as I looked over my shoulders into his deep brown eyes and anxious smile. "That sounds perfect."

"Let's not do it in LA," he said.

"Let's move to the east coast, we can go to a small southern town where no one goes and raise our kids there," I said.

"That sounds amazing, let's buy a house on the beach."

"How about we get it built on the beach? Just us," I smiled.

"I'll call Scooter and he can hook us up with some contractors. Where do you want to move?"

I sat there for a moment and thought.

"I read this really good book, and the town is in North Carolina."

"I would love to move there, what town?"

"New Bern," I said. "It's a small southern town, everybody knows everybody. It's only a few minutes on the beach but there's a river right in town."

"We can live on the river," Justin smiled. "We can get a boat and go fishing with the kids."

"We're going to be such a cute southern family," I smiled at the thought.

Justin rubbed my shoulders and went down my arms. He slid is hands by my thighs and I jumped a little when I felt his fingers go inside me. I put my arm back and around the back of his neck. I felt relaxed and happy. Light moans escaped my mouth and Justin kissed my neck, I fell weak to his touch and I knew he was in control now.

He moved my hair off my neck and whispered "I love you" in my ear. He removed his fingers and licked them clean.

"We aren't done yet," I told Justin.

"Meet me in the bed in five," he winked.

I smiled and got out of the tub. I dried myself off and threw my hair in a messy bun. I put on a bra and lace underwear. I put on a long tank top and went into the bedroom. The lights were low and Justin laid on the bed, he was on his phone but he was flat on the middle of the mattress. He was effortlessly perfect.

When Justin saw me he set his phone down and I crawled on top of him, kissing his lips gently. He slid the tank top off, and the kiss never broke as he unhooked the bra and pulled my panties off.

The night ended with sweaty bodies in between the sheets at 3:00AM, completely breathless and amazed with how great it was.

"I love you," I reminded Justin.

"I love you too," he said.

We fell asleep against each other and when I woke up, I had to shower. When I stepped out of the shower Justin was standing by the sink with just shorts on, brushing his teeth. I put the towel around my hair and wrapped one around my body. I slid my hands around his torso and held them on his pecks.

"Good morning baby," he said.

"Good morning," I smiled and kissed his shoulder.

He turned around and kissed me before picking my up, my towel falling, he set me on the counter and kissed me. My legs wrapped around his waist and he held his hands on my thighs. I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him with so much passion.

After a few minutes, the kiss broke and he licked his lips.

"Get dressed," he laughed. "We have a meeting with some contractors today."

He handed me my towel and left me with a huge smile across my face. I applied some makeup and left my hair natural. I put on a short sundress with flowers on it and slipped on some white open toed wedges to go with it. Justin had the kids fed and dressed since we planned on going to the zoo after the meeting.

We met Scooter at an office building in downtown LA.

"North Carolina, huh?" Scooter hugged me tightly.

"Yeah," I said. "We're ready to start a new chapter in our lives. It's time to move forward."

"I'm proud of you guys," Scooter said. "It's a big step and I think you can handle it."

"Of course we can," Justin wrapped his arm around me. I grabbed Jessica's hand and Carter grabbed Justin's.

"This is a picture moment!" Scooter got his phone out and snapped a photo of our family.

We went inside and into someone's office. We talked for an hour about pricing, how long, where we would like to build. At the end it would take four months to build a three story mansion along the waterfront of the Trent River. They also would build a private dock for us. We made the down payment and they would start building next week.

After the meeting Scooter took all four of us out to lunch at a local restaurant by the beach. I have never felt so happy before. Justin kept making me smile and laugh throughout the meal.

"Can I talk to you alone Shawna?" Scooter asked as we all walked out to our cars.

"Yeah," I smiled and stopped walking to face him.

Justin and the kids got in the car.

"I can't begin to explain how proud I am of you," Scooter smiled. "You know I will always be here. In LA, for whenever you visit and whenever you need anything or anyone I will be a phone call away. It's going to be a little difficult without you around here," I noticed tears forming on his cheeks.

"Scooter," I hugged him. "I'm sorry."

"Shawna don't apologize, this is your future. Your family. Your life. You do what you want to do," he stopped to let the tear fall. "Just know I will be your biggest supporter through it all." He hugged me again.

"Thank you," I smiled. "It means so much knowing I have someone like you in my life."

"I will always be here for you. If your parents were here, they'd be so proud."

I felt tears forming in my eyes. "Thank you for an amazing journey. But I'm ready to start this new chapter. I'm not a little kid anymore. I need to grow up."

"I love you," Scooter pulled me into another hug.

"I love you too," I smiled.

I went to the car and got inside.

"That was a lot of hugging," Justin said.

I looked at him as tears filled my eyes, "it's going to be hard on Scooter."

Justin wiped my tears and I rested my hand on his chin.

"I couldn't be happier," I said. I looked up as more tears fell. "You've made me the happiest person in the world."

"I'm so excited to start this new chapter with you," Justin smiled.

I kissed him, "me too baby, me too."
