You were a fan of Naruto, until one day you woke up in Naruto. Confused yet intrigued, you began to wonder around. You notice that many things were off, and definitely not the storyline of the original Naruto. You knew not...
You opened your eyes and stared up at the ceiling, a single tear escaping your eyes as you realized you were back in your home reality. You slowly turned to see friends and some family, laughing and enjoying their time. You then looked across the room to see Takahiro. Your eyes widened, and you quickly sat up as quickly as your body allowed you to, startling everybody as you gently tugged your IV out and pushed yourself off the bed, falling to your knees but pushing yourself forward with one arm.
Your mom worriedly called after you, her voice filled with horror and shock, but you ignored her and climbed up to Takahiro's bed, staring down at him as he fluttered his eyes and smiled up at you, and reached up. You helped him sit up and hug him, acting as if your family and friends weren't there. They seemed to be unsure of what to do, but your mom took action by calling your closest friends. "She's hugging somebody she doesn't know, but she seems happy." She cried with joy, happy to see her daughter finally wake up. "I have to take my education from age thirteen." You cried, earning an amused laugh from Takahiro. "Is that what matters? Your left arm clearly doesn't work!" He commented, gently punching your arm.
"That doesn't matter! If I write with that hand I can learn with the other in a month, but five years of education, dude." You grinned, looking out of the window.
Your friends and family suddenly rushed to you and hugged you, crying in relief as they tipped you over. "Whoah.. I was out for five years and this many people stayed?" You asked in surprise, hugging them back hesitantly. It felt like it had been so long, and it was strange.
You turned as one of your closest friends slammed the door open, her face red as if she had been crying. You smiled warmly at her as she rushed up, jumping and tackling you into a hug. "Oh my god- be careful or you'll hurt me!" You gasped, eyes wide. "I'll never forgive you!" She cried, hugging you tighter than ever. "Oh come on, I lived didn't I? I just took a small skydive. It was just five years, and I'm a completely different person." You smiled, patting her back.
"Shut up. You don't understand what you did to all of us." She grumbled as you eyed Takahiro and chuckled with him. You scooted yourself onto the bed with Takahiro and sighed. "I'm going to have to learn to walk again, won't I?" You asked, shaking your weak legs out.
You held your bag as you walked with Takahiro, grinning widely. Five years passed, and you both managed to pursue a life as a doctor. It took you one year to go through all the necessary exams to graduate high school, then another four years for more education, but you two were able to pass the exams with no problems.
In fact, you two seemed to be known as overly smart, and you were rather famous as doctors. Your left arm was able to work, but you just didn't feel anything there. The nerves had technically died off.
You two looked down the roof of the hospital, proud of the outcome. "Do you think we'll be able to meet them again?" You asked him as you eyed your necklace Obito had given you. "Maybe sometime." He hummed, eyeing you. "But I prefer to just watch. It was so much work, and the constant fear of dying." He sighed, leaning forward.
You silently nodded, slightly agreeing. Though you still don't know why they forgave you so easily, you learned to accept it. You thought for a moment before looking at the sunset. "This reality is nice, but it's boring.." you murmured, wishing you could visit another reality somehow.
You stared at your necklace again and brought it up to your cheek, smiling as the memories washed in, and laughed again, amused. As you put your doctor coat back on and got ready to head back inside you eyed Takahiro again.
"What an overrated ending."
(Aaah, last chapter!
The ending is boring, I know, I know, and I apologize.
Honestly, I didn't expect this book to grow this much, and I also didn't expect my book to even end like this. I was actually planning for Y/N to end up with like, idk Deidara, Sasuke or Naruto, but then I realized, this book started with Y/n jumping realities so she had to get home at some point.
Also, ive gotten a few dm requests to make a second book, which will be about Boruto Generations, and I'm honestly unsure. I feel like this is a good place to leave the book off, but maybe a second book would be fun too? If I make a new book, I could explain why the villages forgave you so easily too, and it'd leave room for explanations. It's up to y'all, ngl.
Thank you all so much for sticking with me and reading through. This book is officially complete(beside the editing of my terribly written grammar), and it took eight months. Eight months, lol. When I started writing this book I quote on quote said to my friends.
"It's just a book. 25 chapters. How long could it be? I'm just testing the power of fanfiction LMFAO"
Yeah... well, before this turns out long, I love you all so much for reading through my writing and commenting and voting. Now I should start working on my Demon slayer fanfic so, thanks for reading!
P.s.
Out of boredom, I made a playlist for this fanfic,
