Who am I? (Naruto Fanfic)

Just as Naruto left to grab you some fruits out of worry, you leaned you head back and looked at your bandaged hands. What in the world happened? You lifted your hand and shook it, feeling as it was numb. "Huh.." you murmured, standing up from your hospital bed and staring out the window. You oddly felt.. empty. It was hard to express, at least.

Slowly, you opened the window and breathed in the fresh, chill air. Your room was definitely overheated. You placed a leg on the window frame, ready to jump out. As you hopped out, you felt a hand graze at your arm in an attempt to stop you and turned midair, confused as you nearly failed your landing and would have broken a leg from the height. A scoff left your lips as you looked up and saw nobody.

"Now you're imagining stuff." You scoffed, blaming your fever as you began to make your way for the village gates. You leaned against a wall, heavily breathing in exhaustion. You lift your gaze as somebody approached you. "You look like you're dying." Habirama commented, causing you to shake your head.

"I don't know, Aloe-Chan, maybe I am." You chuckled lowly as he helped you. "If you're planning to train, you're not in a condition good enough to do so." He told you, to which you scoff. "You read me so well. But I'm just planning to go on a walk instead of training for today. Getting stabbed and nearly dying isn't as easy as it seems." You add, lowering your gaze. "So, did you jump out the window again?" He asked, looking up towards the hospital.
"Yes."
"Won't the nurses be suspicious of you?" He asked, smiling widely. "No, I'm pretty sure they should get used to it." You giggle, eyeing him as he shook his head and looked ahead, to where Naruto was. He waved at you two as stopped, blinking at you. "Y/n-Chan? Are you supposed to be out here and away from the hospital?" He asked, worried as he handed you your basket of fruits.

"Thanks." You smiled at him, not answering his question. "Ooh, you got aPpLes?" You quickly asked very slowly as he tried to repeat the question. "And bananas?" You added as he tried to speak up again. The expression told you he was going to ask again, so each time he opened his mouth to ask a question that included the hospital you cut him off by saying the fruits name in the basket.

Which was followed by oranges, pears, grapes, grapefruits before he finally gave up and happily chuckled at your seemingly happiness. You mentally sighed in relief as he stopped trying to ask questions. "Is he that stupid?" Habirama bluntly whispered to you, to which you punched him in the shoulder. "Shush." You glare at him.

Naruto tilts his head and you chuckle it off, grabbing an apple and tossing it to Naruto. "I don't think I can eat everything alone so you can have some." You grinned widely as you bit into the apple, ignoring the fact Naruto shyly stuttered a 'thank you' to you. He was so cute. "So, where's Sasuke?" You questioned curiously. "Sasuke went on a mission with Kakashi and I got a break." He responded, smiling at the thought of being able to brag to Sasuke about being able to hangout with you without Sasuke being around.

Naruto frowned at your bandaged arms in worry. Here we go.

"Are you sure you're okay, Y/n?" Naruto quickly asked, walking forward and inspecting your arm with worry. "She won't die." Habirama smirked widely at you as he spoke, eyeing your arm. "That's if you don't eat my arm, Zetsu." You grinned at him. "Hm?" Naruto tilted his head as he turned to look up in confusion. "Nothing." Habirama smiled as he pulled you in by the shoulder, his expression warm.

  Naruto grew visibly jealous at the man's actions towards you, but somehow you couldn't see this, being the ignorant person you are.  "What to do." You sighed in boredom as you silently leaned away from Habirama's embrace. He blinked at you and watched as you walked away from him. Why was he even keeping an eye on you? Sure, it didn't bother you that much because nobody knew but why? 

You eyed him with suspicion to which he chuckled. "No need to look at me like that." He grinned.
