The next morning, you woke up in the office and sighed. You slept in. a very comfortable chair, but you were told to wake up before 6 so nobody saw you casually sleeping in a hokage's office. You agreed. Here you were now. You yawned and folded the soft blankets before putting them away, smiling as you stretched and slowly opened the curtains. You slowly turned and eyed the piles and piles of paperwork. "Poor Obito, I don't see him as the type to do paperwork." You chuckle, picking out the paper and reading one paper. It was about a mission. Uninterested, you put it away and shook your head. "How can he manage?" You questioned to yourself before pushing it aside and organizing the room out of boredom. Your eyes were now on the village. It was quite big. Not to mention beautiful.
"I still want some dango." You whispered just as Obito walked in, and he blinked. "I can go and get you some, but you have to promise me you'll be useful." He grumbled as he closed the door and walked up to his desk that was now clean. "Ah, you've been useful already, it seems." He chuckled, smiling at you as you looked at the village. He pulled out a small pouch and handed it to you. "Use it widely. This is your monthly allowance. Don't do anything stupid. Please." He smiled sweetly and you quickly nodded.
"Thank you, Obito!" You called as you slowly walked towards the door and opened it. "I'll get you something too, if I feel like it!" You lastly said before shutting the door behind you and putting the money in your pocket. God, you wanted to shower. You began to walk around the village and eyed the food choices, you ended up walking into the peaceful dango shop, of course. You were greeted by an Itachi who sat alone.
"Ah, hi!" You call as you ordered a dango and sat across from him. He raised a brow at you before he bit into his dango. "I thought you were on a diet." He asked, which made you awkwardly cough. "Uh- I gave up on it. It doesn't matter. Anyways, what're you doing?" You smiled as you lean forward and tap on the table lightly. "I'm waiting for Sasuke to finish his mission." He murmured, lifting his gaze to meet yours.
"Worried?"
"Only the slightest of worry for him." He smiled lightly, tilting his head a bit. He was obviously VERY worried for him, and you couldn't really blame him. Sasuke was a very interesting boy. You were less worried for Naruto and Sakura. Sasuke would think the most yet accidentally die somehow. Probably by getting kidnapped from Orochimaru. You held back a scuff and lifted your gaze. "I'm guessing if Sasuke was able to become a chūnin, he unlocked his Sharingan. How did he unlock the first stage?" You asked out of curiosity. "It was on his first mission. He was trying to defend Naruto from somebody called Haku, apparently." He answered, and you nodded.
Of course. He had to get it from protecting Naruto, because the Uchiha massacre didn't happen and he couldn't have activated his Sharingan.
"Didn't the Uchiha clan once hate the village?" You quietly asked, thanking the waiter as he gave you your dango's, and you silently paid. He tensed, remembering the days. "Yes. They still do, but the village is learning to accept the Uchiha while the Uchiha is learning to be part of the village. Nothing to be worried about from the Uchiha." He finished as he ate his last dango, and slowly stood up.
"It was nice talking to you-" he smiled warmly at you before he began to walk out. "I should go back home. I promised my mom I'd help her cook." He lastly sighed before fixing his expression and making it hard to read before he began to walk away. You giggled with amusement and ate your last dango before standing up.
