What had just happened? Felix didn't really know. All that he did know was that he was lying on something soft, yet still uncomfortable. Also, there was something on his face, cold and somewhat minty tasting air coming out of it. Lix wanted to open his eyes, but he was blinded as soon as he did. He was probably back at the hospital, for whatever reason. Why couldn't he be home for longer than five days? What had he done wrong this time? Did he not take his meds? Was it a food poisoning after Lina's admittedly delicious dinner? It didn't really matter Afterall. Finally, he could open his eyes and looked around. Yup, definetly a hospital. But he wasn't sure whether it was the ICU or just a normal room, but again, it didn't really matter, or more, he didn't care. 'Fox' didn't have any emotions or feelings at the moment, except that he noticed his body felt hot. Extremely hot. So it's a fever. He realised and sighed, but couldn't really be sure. Someone came into the room, it was a girl. There she is! Felix said to himself and coughed, seeing his girlfriend walk up to him and grab his hand. He glared at her lazily, his eyes were probably still all glossy. "Hey are you awake?" She asked and brushed hair out of the guy's face. He just nodded and had to cough again, this time a bit harder. "What happened this time?" The boy asked once he was done. "After Chris left, you became really tired and fell asleep on the couch. You woke up with a high fever and Phil wanted to give you meds, but you weren't responding and he also didn't have anything against a fever. Then it looked like you were having a seizure and we had to call an ambulance for you. You lost consciousness for almost three days now, but they managed to cool you down as you may have noticed, so now, you have to rest. No getting up, not even in the wheelchair!" The girl explained and Felix sighed. So I'm bound to the bed again how great. He slightly lifted up the mask on his face to speak again, but it felt like he was suffocating this time, so he put it back on and coughed again. "Baby you can speak with it on." Li explained and rubbed his cheek with two of her fingers. Just as he wanted to respond, he coughed again, this time something slimy came out of his throat and he took off the mask, quickly spitting it in a bowl. "That hurt..." He mumbled as he rested his head back on the pillow. "I know darling, I know. You have pneumonia, it's normal that it hurts." She said as she brushed more hair out of his face. During the next five minutes, in which Lix actually wanted to go back to sleep since he was tired as hell, he didn't stop coughing up slime. A nurse, which his girlfriend had kindly called, told them that it was actually a good sing that slime came up, since the slime was actually the bacteria that was making him sick. "I want tea." The boy said once the nurse had left, making his girlfriend chuckle. "I want tea and a kiss." He added and smiled at his girl, already pulling off the mask. But instead of his lips, she kissed his forehead and carefully put the little apparatus back on the boy's face. "Wrong spot." He protested and pointed to his lips. The girl sighed and grabbed his hands with her's. "Honey as much as I would like to kiss you too, you have pneumonia and I don't wanna get sick as well." Felix understood, but also still craved to feel her soft lips on his. "This is a nightmare." He said and sighed, followed by another cough. "Li it hurts to breathe..." Lix complained and held the girl's hands a little tighter. "Don't worry it's gonna be fine." She whispered softly in response, brushing over Fox's freckles on his cheeks with her thumb. "Did I ever tell you that you're really cute? Like, so so so so cute?" Lina cooed all of a sudden, making her boyfriend snicker a little bit. He shook his head in response. "You see? I don't think I did. By the way, Lixie, do you like your freckles now? As you already know, I find them really cute!" He nodded and smiled into his mask, not realising that it had gotten so foggy it wasn't see-through anymore. Lina smiled back, even though she couldn't see his smile, and leaned in for a kiss, but stopped when she remembered her boyfriend was sick. They both kinda facepalmed and sighed at the same time. "I gotta pee..." Felix issued and scoffed, holding his belly with the one hand that wasn't attached to an IV. Li got up and got a bedpan, which, you get it, the guy had to pee into. Felix positioned himself on it and then looked to his girlfriend, who pulled down his underwear a little and waited for him to just let it flow. He didn't at first, until Lina rubbed his member from top to bottom a couple times, so it just all came out. They got rid of it and kept holding hands as lix was once again attempting to sleep. But he couldn't, even though he became a bit dizzy. "I really wanna cuddle.." he told the girl, hoping that she would give in. He would've accepted the pneumonia if their places were switched, as long as he knew Li would be safe in his arms. What if she was cold right now and simply not telling him? He couldn't accept her not being in his embrace. But he had to accept it, he really just had to. She put her arm over Felix's chest, rubbing his shoulder a bit. "Same, but this is the best we can do right now." Lina said in a sad voice, looking at their other hands that were still intervined. Suddenly, she got up and straightened her clothes a little. "Please tell me you're only getting my tea." Lix said and almost cried. She can't leave me like this! "Baby I think I should get going. You're fine as of now and I really wanna spend some time with my parents, I hope you can understand." "No! I'm not fine at all! It hurts to breathe, remember! You can't leave me!" He said in a loud tone, trying his best to sit up but failing. This couldn't happen. Lina sat back down with a sad face, almost crying, and pushed him into the bed. "Shh... I'll wait until you're asleep and then I'll go, okay?" She suggested, but her boyfriend wasn't having it. "I won't sleep, then." Li broke down all of a sudden, the whole situation being too much for her. She was torn between Felix and her parents, which was an impossible decision to her. "Lix, just... I can't do this anymore.." She said. The statement hit like a truck, harder than the car hat hit Felix back then. "Are you breaking up with me?" he said, surprisingly very calm. "No! Of course not. I just need time..." Lina finally had the courage to stand up and leave, leaving Lix alone in his bed. He knew it wasn't his fault, he knew he could've done nothing to help her, or at least not much, but he wanted to change that. He needed someone to blame, so he could understand why his girlfriend was leaving him like this. Of course, the person to blame was the one driving the car that lead to this situation in the first place. Or maybe it really was the boy's fault. If he hadn't gotten pneumonia, then his fiance would've not gotten overwhelmed with the whole situation. Or would she? It probably would've happened anyway, just maybe not so fast.
