As soon as Lina left her boyfriend's room, she started sprinting to the elevator, eventually reaching it. She then headed out of the hospital, not calling her dad to pick her up, but texting Chris.

Not even the previously mentioned 5 minutes later, Chris's car held in front of her and he motioned her to come in. "Where do you wanna go? Home?" He asked as the engine started, the car beautifully vibrating. "No, turn off the car, please, I need someone to talk to." Li said and ended up telling her friend all that had taken place. How she couldn't handle the situation, how Felix probably blamed himself now, how he thought she was breaking up with him, just everything that she had in mind. During her whole rant, Chan pulled her head on his shoulder and kept listening to her, like no one had done recently. "Do you need help taking care of him?" He asked once the now sobbing girl was done speaking. She nodded and hugged the older boy, but not like she hugged Lix, it was less heartfelt. "I get it. Who can help? I mean I can of course, and I will if you want me to, but who else? Like, his mum isn't even there at all from what I've heard, his new dad probably has to work as well, and for other friends... Well he doesn't know my friends and I don't really know a lot of his, so maybe you know someone who could help?" The older one suggested and she thought for a second, then said that Ryan and also Mark would probably be more than happy to help, but Ryan had to focus on his uni applications and Mark on his last year in school. Lina hadn't told Felix that she had dropped out of school yet, she felt the right time hadn't come. But Chris knew. In the last few days, Chris had been there for her when Lix hadn't. Not that he didn't want to, but he was no big help in this condition. Suddenly, Li's phone started ringing. "What now?" She asked and then picked up the call, a female voice starting to speak immediately. "Hello, this is Blacktown Hospital, are you Felix Lee's fiance, Lina Park?" Li told them yes. "Mr Lee is making problems and said he wouldn't calm down without you, can you hurry here, please? He's putting himself in danger." The nurse said and the girl agreed right away, assuming it was her fault lix was doing something bad again. Her and the other boy rushed inside, to where her boyfriend's room was. To her surprise, security guards were in front of his door. "Ma'am you're not allowed to go through here, the patient is dangerous." One of the men said, having Lina scoff at him. "He's not dangerous! He's bound to a wheelchair there's not much he can do. Please, I'm his wife!" She somewhat lied, since they weren't married yet, hoping they would let her in. The guards agreed and let her into the room, to find it was empty. "Felix?" Li asked and went quiet, waiting for a response. She didn't get a real answer, but heard sobs coming from the bathroom. It was locked. "Felix what're you doing?!" She asked as she pounded the door with her fists, afraid the guy could be hurting himself. Again, no answer, only more sobs and cries. "Lix come on, please, let me in." Li begged. "Are you...mad at me?" He finally asked, voice shaky and quiet. "No, Lixie, I'm not mad at you. Just let me in and we can talk. Didn't you wanna hug me some time ago? We can cuddle." With that, the boy was convinced and opened the door, head faced down as he held on tight to the doorknob while the girl was coming in. "Come here, Lixie." Li said and pulled him on her chest, kneeling down so that Felix wasn't in danger of falling anymore. "Why couldn't we hug earlier?" He asked, tightly holding onto the skinny girl. "Because you were in bed, Lixie, and you're not supposed to get up. It's really dangerous what you're doing." She explained and pushed the boy away a little, seeing his right arm drenched with something. Li pushed his sleeve up, revealing that Lix had ripped out the IV and he was bleeding. "I'm sorry..." He quietly apologised and cried again. "Don't let them hurt me again..." He begged as his girlfriend just sat there in shock. "What were they doing to you, darling?" She asked and he started explaining. "First, they wanted to give me eye drops, and...and I asked what they need eye drops for, and they- they said it was for an examination or something, but- but I said that i- I wouldn't do it, and I pushed them away and s-screamed. Then they wanted to get me an injection so I stood up and made a run for it, but I couldn't make it further than here." He explained in tears while his hands were folded over his heart, holding it tight as to prevent it from shattering. "Lix" his girlfriend said calmly "why did you do that? Just because you were scared? You could've told them that you're afraid and I'm sure you guys could've found a compromise!" He seemed to have stopped breathing for a couple of seconds. "Because you weren't there! You know that when I'm scared I don't talk to anyone but you...! Why did you leave..?" On one hand, Felix understood that she missed her family, because he missed his mum more than anything and would give everything he has just for her to be there, but he would do the same for Li. He thought they were inseparable, and they were, so why would Lina leave him alone?! She could meet friends any time, she could just go home and talk to literally anyone, while he had to stay in bed and at the hospital, having regulated hours of visitors. Even though visits were allowed, no one except Li ever came. "Darling you know why. I can't stay here, and I know that you don't want to be here either, but you're the one who has to be here right now, okay?" She asked and hugged the guy tight, only to notice that he had trouble breathing. Of course! He still needed the oxygen, but his stupid a$$ had gotten up without it. His lips also started to take a slightly purple shade, indicating that he was really under the need of oxygen. "Come on, I can see you're breathing heavily." Lina said, stood up and picked up the boy, him holding tight onto her neck. "Please, no!" He begged once realising she was bringing him back to bed. "Baby don't worry they're not going to hurt you, I'm here now and I'll protect you." she hushed him like a little kid and placed him down, putting the oxygen mask on his face. "I'm already less dizzy..." Did he loose a lot of blood? She told Felix to wait and went to get the nurses so they could put the IV back in, but Felix really didn't want them to. He kept holding his other hand on the arm they were gonna use, so they had no access. "Lix come on, it's not gonna hurt you, you know that they'll be really really careful." Lina said and stroked his hair back, smiling at him. "I know you're lying to me. It always hurts!" He protested, but hadn't noticed they were already done with putting the IV in.  Li giggled and pressed their foreheads against each other. The boy kept crying, telling them to leave him alone, until the nurses gave him slight narcotics so he calmed down a lot. "Li I can't feel my right leg.. is it still there? Did they take my leg?!" Lix was back to being fully clear, panicking and trying to get a hold of his leg. "Of course it's still there! You're just sleepy that's it. Take a nice long nap and then you'll be just fine, we promise." A nurse said while she gave more anesthetics, this time a bit stronger ones. Felix soon drifted off, not into sleep, but into a seduced state where he couldn't really speak anymore. "Thanks that you were here so quickly. A few more minutes in there without the oxygen could've gotten himself killed. Let him rest now." The nurse in charge said, shook the young Asian girl's hand and left the room with the rest of the team, now letting in Chris, who was waiting outside the whole time. As soon as he stood by them, a half asleep Lix grabbed his hand. The older one laughed and caressed the boy's hand. "You know, I'm not gay or anything, but he's really cute sometimes." He confessed and giggled, seeing how the younger one was clinging onto him. The little one whimpered and bit his lip for apparently no reason. "Darling you're alright, it's just Chris who's there. Look, look at Chris who's come to visit you." Felix widened his eyes at the older one, him copying his disabled friend before Lix fell asleep at last. Lina and Chan sighed, sitting down on the same edge of the bed. "I can't leave now, the same will happen when he wakes up." She explained and leaned her head against the man's shoulder. "I'll ask if maybe we can get another bed in here so you can have a good rest. I'll stay for a bit and chill with you if that's fine." So he did so and left, while the girl just collapsed onto her sleeping boyfriend. She really wanted to sleep as peacefully as him, so she could just be away from this situation for some time. So she, like Felix said, 'couldn't give a fuck'. She sobbed quietly, squeezing her sound asleep boyfriend's hands. Li really wanted him to wake up now, needing his warmth and his deep, calming voice. But he didn't even move a muscle. It was like when he was in the coma: Felix was there, but also never really there. His body was present, but his soul wasn't. "Hey, look what I... OH MY GOD!!!!"
