『Chapter 2』

Today was the first time Felix had to try and walk. But first, we went swimming in the hospital pool. With some nurses, of course. I was there way more early than Felix was done changing, so I just swam a few rounds. One of the male staff carried my boyfriend in. And only then I realized, how thin he really was. Or more, how much he looked different. He was, like I said, a lot thinner, seemed a bit shorter, had really pale skin and relatively long blond hair, that started to grow out black again. The staff member brought Lix into the water and put him on his feet right next to me. Felix fell on his back, but the salt water carried him. „I kind of like that." Lix said. I laughed and pulled him up by the arm. „Yeah, but you're supposed to move. Come on." I grabbed both his hands and moved backwards slowly. My boyfriend tried to follow me, because if he didn't, he would've fallen into the water face first. „Please, stop walking. It hurts." he asked and I did so. „Where does it hurt you?" tha staff guy asked and poke Felix in multiple body parts. „Practically everywhere." my boyfriend explained and frowned a bit. He still couldn't really feel or move his arms or legs, or at least it hurt him really bad. After the hospital worker left the pool, I picked up my boyfriend. Kind of like a baby. He wasn't really heavy, even lighter than me. „Try to swim." I said and when Felix nodded, I let him slide into the water. He couldn't sink, because it was salt water. He swam a few meters and then stopped at the edge of the pool. My boyfriend was so tired after this, that the caretakers had to literally pull him out of the water, because he fell asleep trying to get out of the pool.
