Two days later, Felix deteriorated really fast. He was hooked up to oxygen and an IV with fluid, since he could barely eat anymore. He had decided to stay in the room with Jisung, and not get a new room in the ICU, since the visiting times were extremely limited there. He was sitting on the balcony of his room, staring into the distance. There were some skyscrapers not too far away, and he was only staring at them. He noticed that he sometimes didn't breathe 'automatically' like before, but at times he had to 'make' himself breathe. Every time he got tired and went to sleep, he feared he might not wake up. The pain in the last days had gotten much worse, and the only way to make it somehow bareable were to give really strong pain medication, that made him really tired and also lose weight really quickly. He could feel himself dying. He wasn't scared, more relieved that the pain and all the suffering would be over soon, but sorry for Lina. She would have to spent the rest of her life without the person she loved. He would do anything just to switch places with her, that he had to live without her and she wouldn't have to suffer like that. He had hoped he would walk again before he had to leave, but it didn't seem like it. There was also the thought of not knowing what came after death. Jisung had been watching his roommate for a while already, trying to figure out what he was thinking about. „Do you want some grapes?" he asked the thinking boy, who turned his wheelchair towards the door. „I'll try one. Are they sweet?" „The sweetest you'll ever eat!" They both started laughing and Felix ate a few. Only a few seconds later, he had to wheel to the railing and vomited out everything, not just the grapes. After stopping, he laid his head on the metal, grabbing it with both his hands. His friend put his hand on the just one day younger boy's back. „I'm sorry, man." „No, it's not your fault. It's no one's fault, except for the car driver." he insisted, making his friend chuckle. They knew each other for only about a week, but already became friends. Chris and Skye also became a bit closer friends with him, cheering him up. They could understand him a slight bit better than his other friends and his family. There were some times when he just hugged Jisung, crying himself to sleep multiple times a day. He didn't have to hide anything in front of Peter. He could've shown everything in front of Li, but didn't want her to see him suffer even more. It felt like Jisung was the brother Felix always wished for. „It will be so boring without you here." the guy said, making Lix look up again. There was a sudden darkness in his vision, that soon returned to blurriness. He had to wait a few seconds, before he could see clearly again. „Felix?! Oh shit!" Jisung said and ran into the room, while the cycle continued for Felix with him slowly losing his eyesight over and over again. Then, a numbness rushed over him, paralizing every body part and function, including his breathing. He gasped for air, the small amount of oxygen not being enough anymore. When he had finally calmed down a bit and returned to being able to breathe, he noticed someone holding his hand. „Mummy..?" he whispered, hoping to hear the voice of his mother. „Shh, it's okay, don't try to talk." Lina said. He was certainly a lot more satisfied to hear her voice than he had expected. She stroke his hair back, making him relax even more. „Am I gonna die now?" he asked, forcing himself to smile. „I do not know, honey. It looks like you're better for now." She explained. Felix couldn't feel any emotions. He somehow wanted to die, somehow not. He pressed harder into the bed he was lying in now, trying to escape his thoughts. He tried to let go of everything, but once it worked, he fought to come back. He tried to move everything he could at once. Legs, feet, toes, hands, wrists, fingers, his shoulders and head. When it finally worked, a sharp and unbareable pain shot through his body and he let out a short but loud scream. He didn't care if the whole hospital, or even all of Sydney, could hear him. He felt Lina's hands on his shoulder and thigh, trying to calm him down. „Hey, Felix, look at me. I'm here, you're not alone.  Squeeze my hand as much as you want, Okay? Break it if you want, I don't care. Do everything that helps you feel better now." She said. He grabbed her upper arm, doing exactly what she said. He finally became unconscious again. He saw something in his sleep, but couldn't remember what. When he woke up again, Lina was still holding his hand and talking to him. „Hi babe, did you sleep well? Can you hear me, my little angel? Why do I even say little? You're older than me, and also over 10cm taller! I hope once you become a real angel, you'll always watch over me. Not that you're not an angel, you're the most angelic person in the whole world. And your looks, my gosh, when we first became teenagers, you always killed me with your looks, which you actually still do, even right now. But your voice is definetly the one of the devil itself. Not that it means anything bad, but it just doesn't suit your baby face." He wanted to burst out in laughter while listening to her, going on teasing her about it for the rest of the month. „Grow up a bit, my little angel." he said in an even more husky voice than usual, due to him being barely able to breathe. „Haha, wow, you're VERY funny today, I see." she teased the boy, making him forget about his misery at once. „Can I tell you about something? It's not a joke, I promise." he explained and Lina nodded. He had planned something for today. „Can you help me get out of bed and in the wheelchair? You promised to bring me to the Harbour bridge, remember?" he said, almost expecting his girlfriend to refuse. But she nodded.

At the opera house

They had decided to go to the opera house instead, since you could still get a good view of the bridge. They had also brought Jisung, Chan and Skye aka Seungmin. He had also managed to bring a very important thing. When they arrived, it was already dark and all the lights were on.

„Okay, we're here.." Felix said and stopped. Turning around, he grabbed Lina's hands. He pulled himself together and stood up out of the wheelchair. Lina looked a bit shocked when he even went down on one knee, still holding her hands. „Li... We've known each other for almost forever now, and you're the best thing that ever happened in my life. You're the one that was always by my side, in good and bad times. I was so happy when you accepted my request to become a couple. If I remember correctly, I asked you out right here. The rest of our time together may be short, but... Lina Park, would you give me the honor of becoming my wife?" he asked, a huge stone falling from his heart as he grabbed the little box with a ring in it.

Li started crying and smiling at the same time. „Yes, of course!" she almost screamed and kissed Felix on the lips, with tongue. The other boys started cheering and clapping, while other people also joined in. He didn't know what heaven was like, but this was definetly heaven.
