"You excited, honey?" Gary smiled at me and wrapped his arm around my waist.

I smiled back "Of course I am! It's our honeymoon!"

Gary and I had just finished packing and were now off to the airport. But Gary being Gary he didn't tell me where we were off to, still and it kind of made me almost beg for it.
------

"I suppose I can now tell you where we're going to spend the next two weeks..." he smiled as we got to the airport.

I gave him a questioning look and he gave me a red envelope. I opened it and pulled out our tickets and read them. Los Angeles.

I let out an excited squeal "Ahhh Gary! This is a dream come true! Thank youuuuu!"

I kissed him tenderly and he chuckled "You're welcome."
------

A few hours later we landed in LA. We were greeted by sunshine and nice temperature, it wasn't hot, but it wasn't cold either. It was just perfect.

Suddenly a thought came to my mind "Gary where are we staying?"

I knew that he had sold his house a few months ago, so that wasn't an option.

He smirked "Surprise."

I rolled my eyes.

"Don't roll your eyes at me darling...Now come on, the car is waiting." Gary guided me to a black car and put our bags and cases into the booth.

He got in the backseat beside me and grabbed my hand, grinning at me "I love you."

I grinned back "I love you too."

We drove a while to the Hollywood Hills. It was such an exciting journey for me, as it was the first time for me being in LA.

Gary showed me a few things, even his old house, which we only saw from a distance, but still.
-----

The car came to a halt in front of some heavy iron gates. Gary leaned out of the car and typed a code in "Clara, you better remember this code in the future."

I nodded "Maybe you should tell me then?"

"280907."

"Our wedding date!"

Gary smiled "Exactly. Easy to remember."

It took me a while until the penny dropped and I gasped "Wha....What...What do you mean by that?"

By now the car had stopped right in front of this big, beautiful villa and Gary had already gotten outside, smiling approvingly, his hands on his hips.

He turned towards me, smirking, a bunch of keys hanging from his right hand "Welcome to our new holiday home. Little wedding present for us both from me. Hope you have fun."

He casually threw me one of the keys, while my jaw was on the floor.

I tried to find my voice back and somehow managed to push some words out "You can't be serious! This is....This is...WHAT THE FUCK?!"

Gary padded towards me and pulled me into a hug "You don't like it?"

"Like? This is amazing, but this must have cost you a fortune!"

He chuckled "First, it's not as if I couldn't afford it. And, for you, or should I say for us in this case, I'd do anything."

I blushed "Thank you Gary...I can't put my appreciation into words. I love you so much."

Gary kissed the top of my head "I love you too. Forever."

We grabbed our bags, well Gary did, I wasn't allowed to, and got inside. It was beautifully decorated. Light, minimalistic, but cosy. A lovely LA version of our London home, just bigger and with a garden, which even had a swimming pool.

"You wanna see the bedroom?" Gary asked with a glint in his eye.

I smirked back "THE bedroom or OUR bedroom? I don't think you bought a house with just one bedroom."

"You'll have to find out."

I grinned and followed Gary upstairs. There were many doors. We opened each one, there were 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms plus one master bedroom with an attached bathroom. Obviously we took the master bedroom.
-----

Later that day, after Gary finally decided to let me get up and out of the bed again, I got dressed and explored the house more. Gary followed me. I went into every room.

The first four bedrooms were all the same really, simple, but still lovely decorated and very inviting. The fifth bedroom though was different.

It was already made for a child. It was blue and white, just like the one at home. I turned around and saw Gary smiling lovingly at me. I kissed him softly, no words were needed.

We got downstairs again and I inspected the kitchen. Our living room had a big sofa and a big telly. I went further down the hall where another bathroom and another door was.

I opened the door and there was a studio. I chuckled "You couldn't do without it, could you?"

Gary slightly blushed "Can you blame me?"

I smiled "No, and in fact I love you for it."

"And I love you. Both of you" Gary smiled and put his hand onto my swollen stomach.

Suddenly I felt a kick. I quickly grabbed Gary's hand and put it where I felt the impact. Then it happened again.

Gary's eyes lit up and his lips turned into a shit-eating grin "Honey, I can feel it! I can feel our son! Finally!"

I giggled at his excitement.

He pulled me into a big hug and kissed my head "I love you---OUCH!"
Gary jumped back and held his stomach "Eh up, mister. No need to kick me already. Mummy is still mine, even though we have to share her in the future, got it?"

I laughed our loud "He shows you your place!"

He smirked "Oi, cheeky. Upstairs. Now. And I'll show you where your place is."
