Chapter 35

Newt's POV

Oliver was in Alice's father reading room, he came to meet Mr. Rupert. Alice and her sisters were standing outside the door trying to listen to what they were talking about inside. Alice was so curious to hear. Her mom and Aunt were in the hall, sitting on sofa, stitching clothes, Her aunt smiled at them for their silliness. 

"Alice honey, come on now, it's not good manners to Eavesdrop " her mom said.

"Please mom, ignore me just this once" she said.

"This girl, she's now a women who is at an age of marriage but look at her, acting like a child" her mom complained to Stella.

"Leave her be, sister." Stella said defending her. 

Seeing how much she was loved by everyone, made me happy. I can't help but smile at her But this isn't time for me to enjoy this, I have to go back, everyone must be so worried and Susie, I don't know how she is doing now. I don't know where to look to get out of here.

They all suddenly came running and settled quickly on sofa. A few seconds later, Oliver and Mr. Rupert came out of the reading room. They both shook hands and said goodbyes. Oliver came to Mrs. Rupert.

"I'll take my leave now Mrs. Rupert" he said and looked at Stella and Alice who stood up with a smile. He bowed to them, Alice bowed back. After giving her a warm smile he left.

"Such a nice boy he is" Mrs. Rupert said. "and quiet handsome"

"Yeah, the girl who marries him must be so lucky" Stella said glancing at Alice, she blushed.

"Poor kid deserves a good girl, how lonely he must be without his parents, it is still tragic how his parents died" Mrs. Rupert said. Alice looked down, the smile faded away.

"Yes, poor boy. I heard he works so hard on that small land of his to make a living." Stella said. Alice stood up not wanting to listen to any of this now.

"I will be in my room" she said and went to her room. She looked upset. 

I went back to the garden where I woke up, I had to find a way to go back. I searched for some kind of portal that I can enter and go back to my place but I found nothing. I have no idea how to leave this place.  I went back to Alice house, it was late night, the moon was shining warm and cool. 

She was in her room in her night white frock, Stella is also with her, she was on bed while Alice was sitting on a chair with a fire lamp on the table, reading a book.

"So when is it going to happen?" Stella asked, Alice stopped reading and looked at her.

"What is?" she asked.

"Oliver and You" she said.

"I don't know." Alice said closing the book "I am waiting for him to confess" she said.

"His confession!" Stella said.

"Yes" Alice said while standing up with a smile. "I will be in his farm waiting for him and he comes and asks 'Alice Rupert, will you do me the honor of accepting my hand in marriage and make me the most happiest man alive on this earth'  and I will say 'Yes, a thousands times yes" She was enacting the situation, it made me smile. She was really cute. 

Stella laughed at her amusingly. Alice laid on the bed next to her with a big smile on her face.

"I love him so much Aunt Stella" she said, her aunt hugged her and said

"I know honey" she said stroking her hair.  

I closed my eyes for a second and it was morning, I was in the living room, they are having breakfast. What is it?! someone is controlling this, time is moving fast here.
