Chapter 53

Newt's POV:

All the witches gathered around Marcus in a circle form holding their hands together. Susie and I were inside the circle next to Marcus, Kayla draw the blood of all the witches into a small wooden bowl and came to us.

"I need your blood kids" she said, I gave her my hand as I looked at Susie who's still not accepting the fact the we need to kill Marcus.

After Kayla took my blood, she asked for Susie's hand, Susie looked at Marcus and closed her eyes in disgust. She looked back at Kayla and said

"Mom please, if you just let me talk to him.."

"Susie, stop, we are not just talking about one life here" She took Susie's hand to draw the blood.

Kayla went to Marcus and draw Marcus blood into the bowl, she then went to all the witches and they dipped their hands into the blood one by one. Finally Kayla asked Susie to dip her hand into the blood and Susie did as told and joined all the witches holding their hands standing in circle around Marcus. I came out of the circle and I joined my pack, we all stood behind the Witches guarding them.

"No matter what happens, you should not break the circle, do not leave your partners hand, make sure you hold it together until the end."

Everyone agreed and all of them started chanting the spell and as soon as they started the spell, Marcus slowly got his consciousness and he opened his eyes to see himself being held by the chains and he looked around, His eyes widened with pain as he looked at Susie who was Chanting the spell along with all the witches.

And Susie, She didn't look at Marcus, She kept her eyes closed, Its hurting her to do this and everyone has forced her to join them in killing Marcus, Especially me. I don't know if I can ever look at her the same way I did before. I know I shouldn't do this but Marcus has no intention of redeeming himself. So I would rather be a killer than to loose Susie again.

Marcus was struggling in pain, trying to get himself out of the chains and he was screaming at them to stop, I think they are messing with his head, he kept moving his head like Its in so much pain.

"Susie___" he screamed her name. "Please stop"

Susie kept chanting the spell with tears flowing out of her eyes, she's so red, she still kept her eyes closed, its hard for her to look at him.

"Susie, please, Its hurting so much, I can't bear it" Marcus was pleading her in pain. "Susie, God____" He screamed again "Why are you doing this?" He screamed at her in agony.

She finally opened her eyes and looked at him, I can see, its breaking her heart to see Marcus in pain.

"Marcus__" she whispered through sobs "I don't want to do this but you know why?" she said "You know why I'm doing this Marcus, You showed me"

"No No please Stop Susie" he was begging them to stop the spell.

"I'm so sorry Marcus, I have to do this, I know the curse will not go away as long as you are alive and all these people doesn't deserve to be cursed Marcus"

What is she saying? Everyone looked at her, doesn't understand what exactly she meant by that.

"No Susie, you are wrong, if you kill me now, the curse will never go away, so please stop this Susie.

"What? No I read it, the book you gave me, it has the solution for the curse, the book said that the curse will go away along with you"

"Remember who wrote that book" he said, he's all sweaty and his hair looks like someone poured water on his head, Marcus was in complete pain, he looks like he could die any minute.
