Chapter 52

Newt's POV:

It has been hours and we didn't hear back from our parents yet, Kayla said she is going to bring Marcus back to the cave and lock him down first until she figures out what to do with him. My pack has arrived, we never gather around unless we have important things to discuss, the last I saw the pack was on the full moon and now we all have been talking about how Marcus is still alive and what he has been doing and done. I put Susie to sleep for sometime in my room, Jessica and Matt were with us in hall.

"Marcus needs to be stopped at all costs" Liam said, he's the 2nd oldest in our pack.

"Yes, If we can't stop him now, he's gonna kill us all" Ethan, the 3rd oldest agreed.

All the pack members have been saying the same thing. I don't know what to say, Marcus needs to be stopped obviously but I can't get myself to fully agree with them. 

"Newt?" Liam called "What are you thinking man?" 

I looked up, pulled my eyebrows together, thinking and thinking, what should I decide?

"I__um I agree that he should be stopped but___"

"We are gonna kill him tonight" I heard Mathew from the door step, He just arrived, He was the oldest in our pack. I heard he's with my parents in the woods to take care of things with Marcus.  "Come on everyone, we should go"

He came to me and said "Kayla has figured out a way to kill him, she thinks she will be able to get rid of him completely. She needs you and the Witch there with her to do a spell, we should go now"

"What?" 

"Where's your witch?" he asked looking around

"You're all going to kill him?" I heard Susie behind me, She was at the door. 

Mathew walked to her. "We" he corrected "We are gonna do that, come on now, we don't have time, we need to be there soon" 

"No one is going to kill him" she said and looked at me. "Where is he?" 

"What?" Mathew questioned, everyone fell silent, Jenna stood beside Susie and put her hand on her shoulder.

"Susie" she looked at her "Its the right thing to do"

"NO" She said getting her hands off her "Killing is not a right thing to do"

"Are you kidding me?" Mathew snapped, he looked angry "Killing him is a right thing, have you forgotten how many people he killed ?? look at them" He pointed at the pack "They are all fighting for their lives as we speak now because of that fucking curse" 

"There must be another way to stop him, we do not have to kill him" she said and looked at me again. "Newt, say something, I Know you don't want to kill him, do you?"

"Of course, he wants to kill him, he was born to fight him" Mathew throw his hands as he said that, I didn't  say anything, I fucking don't know what to decide. "Newt, what the hell man? Since when have you guys had a change of heart about him, he's a murderer guys?" he said 

"Mathew, Marcus is not gonna hurt__" Susie was saying

"Susie_" she looked at me with crying eyes, I went to her and held her hands in mine "Lets end what we started" She looked confused "They don't deserve to get punished because of him, Susie"

"Newt___" she barely can gets word out of her mouth "Marcus was the biggest victim, We shouldn't__"

"Susie__" I held both her hands "I know he was a Victim but killing people for hundreds of years is not a crime that should be forgiven. " She gulped the tears in. I held her hand "Please, We have no choice Susie, He's never gonna change" She didn't say anything but I don't see any other way to save him, he was an victim once but he should be stopped.
