(Y/N)

I woke up to snoring and a weight on my head. I opened my eyes and glanced up, barely making out some golden hair. I angled my eyes down to my lap and saw that Aster was curled happily. Now that I really looked he's grown a lot. He might be able to take down a fox if he tried. Not Fundy sized, but a normal fox.

Tommy suddenly moved his head away from me and seemed like he was trying to lean on something on the other side. There wasn't anything there.

     "Tommy!"

"Fuck," he slid against the wall and hit his head lightly on the ground. "Oh, what the fuck, man."

I slid out from under Aster and crouched down by Tommy, helping him sit up. "Sorry, Tommy. I tried to warn you but you were already falling. 'You alright?"

He blinked a few times, "Yeah, I'm alright." He gave me a shy smile. "Good morning."

I smiled and patted his head, "Good morning."

"What time is it?"

"It's kind of hard to tell, given we're in a cave. However, judging by the fact that I can see clearly, the sun is up."

"A simple 'it's daytime' would have sufficed."

"True. However, that's the response I decided to give you." I smiled. "Be glad I'm willing to spend so much time on something so trivial as the time of day for you."

"Thanks." He blushed suddenly and glanced away. "Y'know, I'm not sure if I dreamt it or not but... did we like... confess to each other last night?"

"By that you mean how I sloppily explained that I like you and then you said you like me back, then yes."

"Good." He grinned happily. "I was afraid that was just my imagination. By the way, I don't think your way of saying you like me was 'sloppy.' I thought it was cute."

I felt my face heat up and I smacked at him. "I am not cute!"

     "Yeah you are."

     "No!"

      "Yes."

     "No!!"

     "Yes."

I prepared to tell him no again but he placed a single finger in front of my lip and shushed me.

     "You're cute. Take the compliment."

"F-fine!" I turned away but I knew my face was ridiculously red. "Only because I don't want ti argue with you."

He giggled, "Ah yes. Of course."

I pouted for a moment, allowing the room- or cave- to fill with silence.

     "(Y/N)?"

     "Hmm?"

     "I have a question."

I turned around and looked at him. He was fiddling with the hem of his shirt, looking down at it. A twinge of pink dusted his face. "Shoot."

"Since, y'know, we both like each other," his face heated up a little, "Does that mean we're... y'know..."

     "What?"

"Um... Dating?" He turned his wide blue eyes up to me. "Sorry if it's a stupid question. I just want to make sure I don't say or do something stupid."

"Hey, you're fine. It's not a stupid question. I was wondering it myself." I scooted towards him so that our shoulders were touching and grabbed one of his hands. "I guess... we're only dating if we both want to."

     "I would like that."

     "Me too."

He smiled and hugged me. "Then it's official." He pulled away and jumped to his feet. "Oh my god! I can't wait to tell Tubbo that I'm finally in a relationship! And I'll tell Big Q! And Niki! And I'll tell Fundy." His smile faltered, "I wonder if they'll even want to see me."

"Tommy, they're your friends. I think they'd be super happy to see you."

"But they didn't come to my party..." He glanced up at me and I could tell he was on the edge of breaking down into tears. "What if... What if they forgot about me? It's been so long... What if they don't care anymore? Did they ever care at all? What if-"

I stood up and pulled him into a tight hug. "Tommy, you're just nervous. It's going to be okay. All your friends are going to be so, so excited to see you again. Alright?"

He sniffled against my shoulder. "'You sure?"

     "Positive."

     "O-okay."

I grinned, "Now, let's get a move on. Better hurry so we see those friends of your's faster. Right, big man."

He pulled away from me and chuckled, "Really? I'm literally crying right now."

"Once a big man, always a big man. Now. Get your things and I'll wake Aster."

     "Alright. Thank you, (Y/N)."

I nodded as I walked towards Aster, "Anytime, Tommy."
