"Gray, can you pull up the zipper for me, please?" I swear it was much easy to wear when I bought it!

Wait I know what's he gonna say next: "How about reducing all of those cakes and junk food and some pounds while you're at it?

"Sure!" He sombrely said. That's a bummer. Well, I can't exactly blame him for being down but I at least expected him to say something snide.

"Vivy, Gray, I'm going over to Sherry's. Join us there as soon as you guys are ready! I've got the flowers with me. Just lock the door behind you." Nathan informed.

"Okay!" I tried to be as cheerful as possible on behalf of all three of us but deep down it still hurts even after so many years. More for Nathan and Gray cause I was too young to understand back then and well and they'd spend a couple more years with our parents than I did.

"Hand!" Gray stretched out his hand as we walked out of the door.

"What am I your dog?", is what I wanted to say but it's just his way of feeling reassured that I won't slip through his grasp either. Gray was closest to mom and always had the brightest smile around her but after they both died it's as if he had forgotten how to smile that brightly. I only ever find glimpses of smirks or faint smiles here and there.

Nathan on the other hand always had a smiling face, but more so for our sakes, like it was his duty to take father's place and I bet it must have been tiring and burdensome for him the most. Yet he is relentless nevertheless. Always showing us his good and bright side. I sometimes worry it might tire him out. Although I think being with Sherry's improved him a bit.

* GRANT RESIDENCE *

"Hey Vivy! You look cute as always!" Juvi flew her arms around me as soon as we entered their house. While my brothers doted on me, I was also super spoiled by Juvia. She would often make dresses for me to practice on but they were pretty so I don't mind!

"Hey Juvi, you too look gorgeous as always!" Believe me when I say she's Gorgeous! She should've chosen modeling as her career with that height, those jet black hair and bright blue eyes, her porcelain white skin, and her delicate demeanor just like Rosaline. She does model for her fellow designers from time to time though. She was probably the most beautiful of the Grant siblings and kind-hearted too. A rare combination if you ask me.

"Aww, what a good girl you are!" I snuggled into her arms, HUH! Gray was still holding my hand for some reason.

"Gray, could you let go of my hand for a second?" Huhu! Gray's being awfully childish today, I wonder what's gotten into him?

"Hey, you sis-con! Let go of her hand!" Juvi you sound like a thug asking for a fight. It doesn't suit your delicate face Juviiii. X<

Remember when I said she was usually docile and sometimes got angry? Well, that 'sometimes' is her brother Tyler and my brother Gray. She turns into a total thug when they face off with each other. Well, you could say some of it is Gray's influence since they used to play together all the time when they were kids.

"Whaaa! I ain't any sis-con, you bro-con and she's my sister so you let go of her!" Gray, do you even hear yourself? It seems today's taken a toll on you man, what happened to the snide-remark king? And why the hell is your hand sweaty?!

Oh, and did I forget to mention Gray and Juvi always bicker whenever they see each other, it's like their fighting spirits are provoked by just their presence alone! Well if nothing else they keep the house lively and sometimes it's good on days like these. :|

"Huhu! Don't the two of you get along well!" Sherry you angel you always find the good in these two! Sherry is like the mom of the two families. It sounds weird but Nathan and Sherry have been so mature since the beginning and even took care of us throughout our lives. They are like the Mom and Dad of both the household.

"Shut up! We ain't getting along or any of the sorts!" Gray and Juvi both scolded Sherry.

"My My! I'm happy to see such lively spirits today anyway." Sherry....you sweet little angel that these brats don't deserve. :_)

"Alright, both of you quit bickering. Is everyone ready? I've parked the car outside and Tyler's already waiting in the other one." Nathan announced.

"Oh! Okay, then we're good to go!" Yeah, we've been together through thick and thin like family and carried forward the legacy of friendship that we inherited from our parents.

"Oh!" I covered my eyes as the sun smiled brightly upon us sad souls as if trying to encourage us to keep moving forward and keep smiling and loving each other.

Ah! Wasn't it a bright day during the summer too when it all burned down?
