Chapter 9

The days from then on passed by quietly.

I finally met Jacob after a couple of days to give him the good news. Nathan had given me a thumbs up so we were officially in a relationship but well he did warn us to not take it too far.

Jacob was delighted to hear, so much so that he planned a whole trip but that had to be held off for a bit since final exams were approaching and Nathan finally proposed to Sherry and decided to hold their wedding after our graduation!

He was insistent on holding an engagement first before getting married as I suspected but we all talked him into getting married already.

This of course meant spending less time with my poor Jacob as I had to spend more hours studying with Tyler who offered to help me with the subjects I was struggling with and those study hours didn't really sit well with Jacob.

He was really frustrated about it but he bore with it for my sake. He even offered to tutor me himself but there's no way I'd be able to concentrate or get anything done.

Especially with Jacob. He really is a wolf in a sheep's clothing.

* POOF! * * HARD BLUSH *

Sure but No!

Well I don't mind a slightly jealous Jacob. He's adorable.

If only I knew what I was talking about.

* FEW WEEKS LATER *

My college days were finally over. Tyler and I finally graduated in summer. Lisa came to our graduation ceremony too!

"Congrats! You two!" Lisa was so happy, it felt like it was her graduation.

"Thanks!" both Tyler and I chimed in perfect harmony.

Jacob too, came to our graduation but for some reason, those two seemed on less friendly terms than the last time they met. I know why Jacob would be acting like that but what about Tyler?

"Jacob be nice!" I scolded him when he ignored Tyler.

"Congrats Tyler!" Jacob congratulated him with a firm handshake and Tyler returned the gesture, "Thanks!"

Seriously what is up with the men around me?

Anyhoo, with Jacob's referral, I had one less thing to worry about with the job offer I got at his friend's company where they had a position open for a UX/UI Designer.

Nathan, Gray, and Tyler as usual resisted, but I did clear that interview with my skills even if Jacob got me into the door. And I mean what's wrong, with your boyfriend helping out?

AAAAH! BOYFRIEND! I could never get over that feeling!

Jacob offered Tyler too, but he refused while informing us he already got an offer from another company that had a pretty great reputation.

Although he would have preferred another position he took it up anyway for experience. I think Tyler was the only one among all of us who was pretty sure about what he liked and probably planned out half of his life.

After graduation checked off the list we now had a wedding to plan.

I was super duper excited and decided to plan Nathan and Sherry's wedding together with Tyler which meant spending a little more time with him but that's okay. I can't remember the last time we spent time together like we used to all the time when we were kids!
