Chapter 66

It's been a couple of weeks since our joint therapy session. I continued my individual therapy sessions and living at my apartment while trying to slowly figure out what I wanted to do with my life.

That afternoon Nathan and the others waited for at least 30 minutes until we finally decided to join them. They tried asking Tyler about what we talked but he stayed mum.

Nathan and Gray didn't leave my side for the rest of the afternoon as we all spent time watching comedy series and then planned to have dinner out together.

Tyler visited me every now and then but he gave me my space too.

Though Carmel wasn't too happy seeing Tyler encroach on her safe haven and Tyler too would tease her from time to time just to get on her nerves.

Geez Tyler!

* ONE SUMMER WEEKEND *  

Everyone was busy one summer weekend. So Tyler and I decided we would take care of Genny while we spent some time together.

It was my first time visiting home after moving into the apartment too.

It feels a little weird going home like this.

The house I grew up in, is still the same old building standing right there beside Tyler's place.

I parked my car on the street parking spots reserved for our house.

I can hear the ruckus already early in the morning.

We always huddled together whenever we went through a difficult time like it was natural for both households.

When we lost our parents we stayed together at Sherry's and this time it's our place.

Sigh.

For better or worse, it got us closer than before I think.

As I entered the house Genny was already following her routine to start blabbering as she tried to part take in a conversation with the adults.

Nathan fawned over her while an irritated Sherry nagged at him to give it a rest cause she was the one who would then have to be the bad guy later when she grows up to be spoiled.

Juvi hurriedly ate as Gray scolded her to eat slowly from the fear she might choke.

Tyler sat relaxed in his chair as he didn't have to worry about work on a Saturday being a company man.

"Oh! Aunt Vivy is here!" Nathan beamed with happiness as he fed Genny another spoonful of her baby food.

Genny looked in my direction and hopped in her high seat with excitement.

"Ah! Ah! Bi..Bi..Aye....Dai..Bi..."

"Did she just combine their names?" Juvi chuckled and Tyler finally got off his chair to come and hug me as if rubbing it in my brother's faces who were already frustrated from the fact they couldn't spend the whole day with Genny and me.

"Alright! Finish your breakfast first." Juvi pulled a pouting Tyler by his collar as she put him back in his seat and asked me if I had breakfast.

"Oh yeah, I had some pancakes earlier!" I informed her as I washed my hand and placed my bag in the corner behind the couch.

"Alright, I've left some in the fridge if you feel like eating okay?" Gray kissed my head and he followed behind Juvi as they left first for work.

They must be really busy.

Right, Gray was starting his own restaurant and has been working extra on his days off from time to time to overlook the setup. They are still renovating the place he bought recently.
