Tyler abruptly stood up from his seat followed by a very jolly person's entrance.

"Surprise I'm back!" Juvi entered the house expecting a warm welcome but instead, she met with a very somber atmosphere at the dining table and the only one not affected by it was Genny.

"AHHEHEHE....ayyya...yaaa...ayaya..aaahe.."

* 30 MINUTES AGO *

It had been three days since Carmel had asked Tyler out on a date and decided to go on one the upcoming weekend. He was busy with work and didn't get the chance to think about it or discuss it with anyone.

He obviously wasn't gonna talk about it with Orba who had a big mouth and it had already become somewhat awkward with Carmel although she acted as if everything was the same.

He had already procrastinated for three days and Carmel just informed him earlier that evening that their first date was gonna be tomorrow to go shopping and spend the entire Saturday.

"Sigh. It's gonna be so awkward." Tyler sighed loudly for maybe the 5th time as he played with his food.

"Hey, buddy, what's the matter?" Gray asked as he placed his hand on his shoulder sympathetically.

"Aaye?"

"Little Genny seems to be worried too, isn't she?" Sherry fed her another spoonful of her baby food and asked him again when he remained silent.

"Is anything bothering you?"

"How will she react?" Tyler looked at Vivy and even though he knew he was probably being manipulative he was still very curious.

Why is he looking at me?

"A co-worker of mine, her name's Carmel, she's asked me out on a date tomorrow. She needed some help with picking a dress for a wedding she's attending or something and I couldn't refuse in a way so—" Tyler informed but he didn't sound excited because of how the other night ended.

Everyone remained silent as they awkwardly looked at Tyler and their gazes suddenly turned to me when I went full gal-pal mode.

"OMG! That's great!"

Tyler looked shocked but I was too immersed in my own little imagination to notice.

No I simply ignored it along with the pang in my chest.

"Dude, you gotta dress up well. Did you plan out the day? Do you know which restaurants are you gonna visit? Do you know what places to take her to? ...."

I was checking my phone to search for someplace and I think I heard Nathan or Gray awkwardly calling out to me while trying to comfort Tyler.

"Vivy...that's...I think you should calm down a little..."

"Ty-Tyler that's great, isn't it? You're still young. Well, I'm sure you'll do great!"

"Oh! Wow! The dresses here are so good. You should definitely visit the Lawernce's place. They really have nice dresses...." I kept rambling as I checked out other places.

"Vivy, why don't you eat your food first." Nathan tried to distract me but I was too hyped up.

"Is she being serious right now?" Tyler angrily mumbled.

"What aren't you excited about his first date? He's finally growing up! Hehe. You should wear that auburn Armodre Sweater! It really suits you well and might even put a good impression on—" I kept speaking until I heard a loud noise.
