Chapter 1

* WYATT RESIDENCE *

"Vivy wake up! I need to go to work and you need to get to college!" Gray a.k.a. Grayson Wyatt, the second son of the Wyatt family, yelled out my name early in the morning as he prepared scrambled eggs, cream cheese, bagels, and coffee for breakfast. He's an extravagant one.

"Hey, wake Vivy up will ya Nathan!"

"Oh shoot! I'm late! Why didn't you wake me up sooner I've got an operation at 10 am and it's already 8:30 am. She'll wake up with another call from yuu . . . argh!" Nathan Wyatt a.k.a. Nate, the one who just fell flat on his face while wearing his socks and trying to grab his bag at the same time, is the eldest son of the Wyatt family only by a few minutes. and like you, my lovely clever readers can deduce, he is a doctor, a general surgeon. Plus, they're twins and both of them turned 26 this year! Even though they are twins for some reason they look completely different.

Gray had dark brown wavy hair like dad and brown eyes with a slightly baby-ish face that didn't fit well his angry brows all the time. He looked adorable but he can be a little intimidating weirdly enough. He was slightly shorter than Nate but was still a whopping 5 ft and 11 inches. While Nathan was an inch or two taller than Gray with brown hair like mom's, Sophie Wyatt, that naturally bent into soft curls and blue-ish gray eyes like dad, Gerard Wyatt. He was as gorgeous as was he adorable especially when he brandished those light dimples whenever he smiled. If Gray was the devil with a baby face Nathan was the angel with a serene smile and calm temperament. Unlike Gray who gets angry with me or pulled pranks on me now and then, Nathan was the more mature one who'd always dote on me but sometimes he could get way too over-protective. He was like a big pup! XP

And I was probably the ugly duckling in some ways if you put me together with my spartan-looking brothers. The couple of school years, I attended with the two of them were a pain in the ass since all the girls would just use me to get their numbers. I was maybe the hybrid of Nathan and Gray with Nathan's bluish-gray eyes and Gray's hair color although I wasn't gifted much height as I remained a mere 5 ft and 5 inches dwarf beside the two of them though. Nothing special, just your average girl.

"Damn it! VIVYLYN GERARD WYATT if you don't wake up right now you're grounded for a week!" Gray shouted probably the 6th attempt to wake me up.

Of course, the one being yelled at is yours truly, the troublesome brat is me the youngest sibling of the Wyatt family and the only daughter spoiled rotten by her brothers. Well, Gray can seem like he's pretty strict with me but he's just a tsundere character who doesn't know how to show his affection properly.

"Oh shoot I think I just heard a dragon roar!" I sat up with a jolt and wide awake, just as Nathan anticipated. Gray getting angry equals doing chores you hate for a week or eating food you don't like more often. I remember Gray feeding me cucumbers for a whole week some way or the other just because he got angry with me for not doing my laundry in time which led to a huge pile of dirty clothes...he's a clean freak and that was practically torture for him. So now my body's developed a reflex every time he calls out my full name, I'm as alert as a hawk to try and avoid getting grounded.

THUD THUD THUD, "Present!" I ran down to let him know I woke up. "I'm awake. I'm awake!"

"Did you sleep well Vivy? Oh, today Gray made your favorite omelet too!" Nathan hugged me and kissed my messy hair and I hugged him back before he could leave.

"Nathan, stop coddling her like always. I always become the bad guy for doing the right thing!" Gray scolded both of us, "And you are waking up enough? You're already late as it is. Go get ready asap!"

"Come now, don't be so groggy so early this morning! And Vivy, don't give Gray a hard time okay, Mmuah! Bye, be back at night!" Nathan immediately ran out of the house after he so-called gave me a lecture. Hehe! Nathan's like a laid-back dad and Gray's ...well...he's like a strict mom.

"And why do you think that is!" Gray grumbled. He probably woke up on the wrong side of the bed today. Although I know he's always looking out for me so I'll forgive him.

* GRANT RESIDENCE *

On the other hand, at our neighbor's, the Grant residence.

"Sherry! Juvi! Wake up! Breakfast is ready!"

"Argh! 5 more minutes!" Both of them whined in sync as one lay sleeping in her bed while the other had her toothbrush hanging from her mouth.

"I need to go to college and don't blame me if you're late for the meeting Juvi!"

"Sherry if you don't quit dilly-dallying I'll send Nathan a picture of you with..." while Tyler knocked on her door, he was interrupted by a grim-looking disheveled Sherry on the mention of Nathan followed by "DON'T YOU DARE!"

The Grant siblings were like copies of their mother. Except for Sherry.

Both Tyler and Juvia had black hair and blue eyes like their mother while Sherry inherited brown hair from her maternal grandmother. Tyler and Juvia looked more like twins than she and Sherry. But Tyler and Sherry were the taller siblings while Juvia was somewhat the Vivy of the Grant family height-wise but she was still taller than me. Well, whatever the case maybe they were beauties regardless! Oh and just Nathan and Gray, both the sisters were twins, a year younger though. Tyler was their younger brother.

"Urgh! Then get ready quickly! The breakfast is ready on the table, I'll leave first, and don't forget to lock the door behind you!"

Yup, Nathan and Sherry have been in a relationship for 7 years now. Nathan was head over heels for her and didn't hesitate to show, although they didn't practice PDA. The Grant siblings were a quiet bunch just like their mother Rosaline who was an introvert but once you get to know her she was one of the warmest people you'll know. While Owen Grant was quite crafty and easygoing and some of that bubbliness trickled down in Sherry too. Sherry was a sweetheart and she's always supported Nathan ever since they've known each other I think and that probably got them quite close to each other. I think our parents even joked about getting them married when they grew up.

"Oh! Hey Tyler, Good Morning! Is Sherry ready?" Nathan always picks up Sherry on the way to the Hospital.

That's Sherry was also a doctor, though a different kind, like Nathan who worked at the same hospital, Albosh Special General Hospital. She was a pediatrician, cause she loved kids. She used to t say one of the reasons she became a pediatrician was Tyler. Both sisters adored Tyler since he was a baby. Juvi used to often dress him up, even in girly clothes at times, (poor guy's dark past), but she developed an interest in clothes and decided to pursue her dream of becoming a fashion designer.

"Yeah, I guess. What do you even like about her man?" Tyler mumbled shaking his head after he saw his mess of a sister. He acts like a boy in his puberty. GEEZ!

"Haha" well nothing Nathan could say to that, he was madly in love with her pretty or ugly.

*CLICK* door opens.

"Bye, Gray! Don't forget to lock the door on your way out!" I ran out on my way to college. It's the last semester and I'll be finally done with my college! I'll be able to start working soon and maybe even move out someday! I can't wait to be independent soon! While I was lost in my daydream I didn't realize the hem of my skirt was stuck into my waist revealing my butt even though I wore leggings underneath, it was still embarrassing. Also, I was a huge klutz sometimes.

"Wait! Vivy!" Gray's voice trailed off as I ran out of the house without realizing my wardrobe malfunction.

"Vivy!" Nathan exclaimed while immediately covering Tyler's eyes. I told you, Nathan was quite protective.

"Vivy you dolt! Wait a minute! At least fix your skirt before you go out!" Gray burst out of the door in a hurry "Seriously! What's the matter with you!" Nathan scolded me from over Grant's front porch.

And that's how our days started at the Wyatt and Grant house. Lively and Noisy. We have been neighbors ever since we were born in Albosh, our houses right next to each other. Our parents were good friends and the six of us practically grew up together. But I think we all bonded even stronger after our parents passed away when were still young.

Ah! I forgot tomorrow's their death anniversary. That's why Gray had been extra cranky and throwing threats at me while Nathan who is usually all composed is so clumsy today. I'm sure the same applies to Sherry, Juvi, and Tyler.

Our Parents died on the same day after all.
