While Jacob and I were getting dizzy in two completely different emotions, the corner of my eye caught a worried Nash.

Did Jacob say anything? Does he suspect something?

I cautiously observed Nash when he finally spoke, "Jacob you moron, be careful!"

Jacob finally put me down.

Nash looked frustrated for some reason as he ruffled his hair agitatedly but soon regained his composure and congratulated us with a bright smile, "Congrats you guys!"

It felt like he was cursing me.

I smiled regardless cause I knew he meant well.

I need to make sure they don't blurt out in front of my brothers.

It'll be a pain.

"Umm," my voice cracked as I finally decided to speak, "Umm. Ahem, um, can we keep this a secret just between the two of us?"

I raised my pinky finger toward Jacob but he sure didn't waste time feeling annoyed.

"Why? Isn't it a good thing?" Jacob argued.

"Yeah it's a joyous occasion,"

For you, but I'm not sure how the two of them will take it. Plus they finally seemed so relaxed and happy and able to enjoy their lives without being reserved. I don't want to ruin it for them. At least for as long as I can.

"but Jacob, try putting yourself in their shoes. We never even told them about our intentions and suddenly their little sister is pregnant." Jacob winced and clicked his tongue but still patiently listened.

Alright, I'll use the dad card on you.

"Pretty please, now that you're gonna be a dad too, you can understand a little better can't you? Just like you need to be happy for my sake?"

I tried to cutely pout but I wonder if I put on a convincing act.

"You know, you need to keep her as happy if not more as she's trying for you. Especially now." Nash added.

Jacob sighed before giving up and linked his pinky finger with mine as he promised, "Alright, it's our little secret."

"It does have a nice ring to it. Something only I know about Vivylyn." Jacob smiled as he thought about it.

"Thanks!" I pecked his lips lightly but he abruptly pulled me back in and before we could kiss Nash interrupted.

"No sex for at least 2 weeks." Jacob scowled at him but Nash continued without paying attention to him.

"She needs to rest. She seems really exhausted and fatigue piling up won't help keep the baby safe."

I somehow felt a sense of relief from his words.

"Also, I want you to visit me in the hospital tomorrow for your first ultrasound and check-up since I officially declare uncle Nash as your personal care physician and I have a great OBGYN friend working at our hospital!" Nash proudly stated.

"Uncle?" Jacob frowned yet still chuckled.

Although that meant more people knew about my circumstance equals Nathan getting to know about it since he's part of the medical circle.

"Don't worry, your records will be kept confidential and I trust her not to be a loose lipped," Nash assured me.

He seems more observant than I thought or more like is he keeping an eye on me since he's friends with Jacob?
