* Vivy's p.o.v. *

In the end, Tyler couldn't crack my password and ended up locking my phone. Sherry gave him an earful while I went and got it fixed with Nathan the next day.

* FRIDAY *

* DOOR OPENS *

"Oh, are they here already?" I walked with Genny in my arms to greet them.

"Hello. Genny says Hello to uncle Tyler's friends too." I gently waved Genny's arm to greet Tyler who was in a formal attire while the other two were in casual formals.

"Wait where's the babysitter?" Tyler inquired as he greeted Genny after applying some sanitizer.

"Aww, I'm back Genny."

"She had to attend to an emergency at home and left a little early. But it wasn't as bad. I was done with the preparations by then. We were just setting the table. Genny was helping too!" I informed Tyler who worried a little but didn't say much as he was distracted by our little cutie.

"Aww, you guys!" Orba suddenly burst our little bubble with a very corny statement.

"You both look like newlyweds in love who just had their first baby."

Ahem!

Orba, you ought to watch fewer romcoms. It's clearly rotting your brain!

"Wha-what!" we both stammered feeling flustered and Tyler ran inside the house under the pretext of helping me out with setting the table.

"Ahem, It's nothing like that. Well, why don't you come on in." I guided them inside toward the living room after they hung their coats on the coat rack.

"Here," Carmel passed me an adorable little jute bag with a box of desserts.

"Thank you for inviting us today."

"Aww, you didn't have to but thank you so much."

She's a good person.

"Vivy when are Nathan and Sherry coming home?" Tyler inquired as he set the table.

"Oh, they said they might be late and asked to start without them," I informed.

Orba and Carmel hung around the living room checking out the place but being courteous enough to not touch or ogle awkwardly either.

"Gotcha. I'll go get changed and I'll be back in a jiffy. Orba and Carmel feel free to start dinner if you guys are hungry. I won't be long." Tyler kissed Genny who was still full of energy before leaving.

Maybe I should put her in the cradle while we're having dinner.

"Oh!" Orba caught my attention just when I was about to go put Genny in the cradle.

"Is this an ultrasound of Genny? But why does it say Laelynn and Lucius?"

I forgot to put that photo away. It's still fresh but I'm better now.

Right!

I can't stay sad forever....can I really not....No no. Stop brooding! I can't show my emotions to them. Plus...

As my heart grew heavier, Genny lifted it up a little when she touched my face with her little hands. Her eyes looked at me as if trying to say,

'It's okay. You have me now.'

Right.

I have Genny now and I shouldn't make her feel anxious.

Carmel as if she noticed it was some kinda taboo topic slapped Orba in the arm to distract him, "Stop prying into other people's business."
