*VIVY IN THE PRESIDENT'S OFFICE**MEANWHILE*
* Third Person's p.o.v. *
"Hey Kai!" Hazel called out to Kai.
"Yeah?"
"What did the president call Vivy for? Is he gonna fire her?" Hazel asked looking concerned.
"I dunno. Even I'm surprised why would the President call for her personally. Usually, the news is delivered down the hierarchy. And no I don't think he gonna fire her. I haven't put in any bad words about her. So her overall performance is good. Well, she does deserve it I mean she definitely is good and passionate about what she does." Kai chuckled but soon showed his concern too as he bit his nails.
"Really now? Did she ask you to put in a good word for her?" Hazel tried to prod in deeper but you could clearly hear the hints of hiss in her voice.
Of course, she felt betrayed, I mean Kai didn't exactly bad mouth her but he didn't put in excellent feedback in her performance report either. (I mean even I would feel a certain level of jealousy towards me.)
"No of course not. She's too honest to do that! You know that well." Kai furrowed his eyebrows as he waited for my arrival. (Well don't you have work Kai?)
"Why is everyone so good to her? Everyone just keeps fawning over her. Sure she's a good girl but she isn't even as attractive as me!" Hazel's internal thoughts kept roaring as she stared at a worried Kai.
"By the way do you know the guy she just came in with today in a car? I thought she had a boyfriend?" Hazel tried something called lighting a fire behind someone's back. (Seriously?)
"Yeah, I know him. That was Tyler, her childhood friend. He's been dropping her off on his way to the office almost every day. There's nothing going on between them. As you said earlier when you asked her to introduce him to you, she has a boyfriend. I think I should get back to work. Let me know when she comes back." Kai stood up to leave when Hazel whispered,
"It didn't seem that way though." Classic villain move. (Why?)
Well, it succeeded in piquing Kai's interest, "Why'd you say that?"
"Well, first they were pretty playful. I mean sure friends give off that feeling, but would let your 'friend' drink from the same coffee cup that you drank from? I mean sure it might be stupid but I haven't seen Vivylyn share a drink with anyone, especially her favorite coffee?"
"Uh-huh?" Kai knew she was just being petty but something pricked at him.
"Imma go to work. I suggest you get to work too."
"Sure, it's a pity, I was gonna tell you how things weren't going well between her and her boyfriend, and probably something might be starting between her and Tyler. Maybe someone might have a chance." Hazel just served a dish full of juicy information to tug into Kai's attention.
"What are you trying to imply? Do you even know who her boyfriend is?" Kai got a little furious which ticked Hazel a little.
"How much of a hotshot would he be? Or wait is that sugar daddy who visited her the other day?" She thought to herself when she thought why not use this information to get her boyfriend's name?
"What? You know him?" she chuckled.
"Hah! You're nothing but talk." Kai scoffed at her.
"Uh-huh! Sure I was gonna tell you all about how she's staying with Tyler now instead of her boyfriend. I was wondering who her boyfriend is I mean doesn't he mind that?" Hazel sneered inside her heart.
