"She definitely cried. Her eyes were slightly puffy but where did she run off to with her hair wet? She seems to acting like she's fine but is she hiding something again? Wait did she..."
Tyler still pondered while the three of them were grabbing dinner after the office the following weekend. They were finally cashing in the dinner Tyler promised them.
"She definitely went to their grave," Tyler mumbled as the other two were browsing the menu.
"And the way she and Genny acted was bizarre too. Suddenly opening the door?"
"Huh? Did you say something? Who went to the grave?" Orba nonchalantly spoke as he kept browsing the menu and Carmel who was sitting across them flinched upon hearing the word 'grave'.
"Wait is he talking about last Saturday when Vivy went to the cemetery? Did he know she was there? Why did he let her come there alone? I could've gotten a chance to see him too. Ah! No that's not it. I mean it's dangerous seeing how she carried herself like a zombie afterward. What if she fainted or something?" Carmel dwelled over all her opinions and whether or not she should tell him she saw Vivy at the cemetery.
"But then again it's none of my business. But seeing her cry out loud like that was really sad. No, but it's her personal business. Argh but what if she's feeling down because of what I said last time? What if she went to the grave because she was reminded of something painful due to my careless words? Argh! So many buts butting in my head." Carmel groaned in her mind as she placed her order.
"Tyler what are you spacing out on? You still haven't decided? Carmel and I have already placed our orders." Orba scolded a distracted Tyler.
"Ah my bad, I'll look at it now. Sorry." Tyler apologized as he looked at the menu but soon got lost in his thoughts again.
"She's been acting weird too lately. I mean I feel like she's avoiding me for some reason. I mean why did she flinch when our hands touched yesterday while I was grabbing the salt from her when she's practically stared into my mouth the other day?
And she keeps asking me to invite these two over at home. Wait don't tell me does she like Orba.
He hardly seems to fit her type. No, wait what's her type anyway? Have I grown fat? Or do I look weird these days? Also, why did she visit the grave all of a sudden? Did she though? Did I do something? And did she cry? Did she wake up in the middle of the night again? But I didn't find her near Nathan's room when I went to check. Also, I don't see her going to his room in the middle of the night these days either. That's a good thing right? Did she wake up and not go down that day? Did her nightmares finally stop? Was it because of what Orba asked the previous day that triggered her? OR..."
"Tyler?" Tyler looked up to look at Carmel but before he had the chance to open his mouth to start a conversation with her, the waiter was already standing beside the table ready to take his order.
He just randomly picked out dishes, "This. This. and This."
The waiter looked at him for a second to confirm his order before leaving with the menu.
"Geez, what took you so long?" Orba chuckled accompanied by Tyler's awkward laugh.
"Geez, I can't take it anymore. He's acting as if something went terribly wrong. If he really cared that much why'd he leave her alone in the first place? Wait does that mean he likes her? But she said there's no future between them? Does she not know he has feelings for her? Should I even tell him about her? What if she wanted space? No but if I tell him he'll keep thinking about her. Do I even have a chance? Argh! Why did I have to like him of all the men?" Carmel's head ached as she agonized about hiding the fact that she saw Vivy at the graveyard.
