"We're back!" Juvi cheerfully entered after a nice short vacation with Gray only to walk in on another awkward situation in the house.

* SLAP *

"I feel like I always get the timing wrong these days, ever since I came back from Paris," Juvi commented on her untimely entrance into an awkward situation.

* 15 MINUTES AGO *

I ate my breakfast in my room and didn't leave the room until Sherry and Genny peeked into the room as if we were playing a game of hide and seek.

"Aunt Vivy? Where are you hiding?"

Seeing Genny giggling I felt a little relieved but also guilty. I smiled at the two of them but my ears were burning with embarrassment.

"He-hello baby. Are we feeling like playing hide and seek today?" I stammered a little in the beginning but gathered myself.

"How are you feeling?" Sherry sat beside me with Genny.

"I'm good. Just soaking in the Sunday vibes." I chuckled.

I wanted to hold Genny but I was reluctant after what happened yesterday.

Right.

I should apologize to her.

"Sherry," I called out to her as she smiled at me as if nothing happened but I couldn't pretend as if nothing happened.

It was eating away at me since yesterday. No since a long time ago.

"I'm sorry. I almost put Genny in danger. I...I'm so sorry."

I know I should be facing her when apologizing but my neck was heavy from the burden of guilt and embarrassment. I clenched onto the blanket in my lap waiting for her to burst out yelling or condemning me any moment now.

"My goodness, I feel like all I hear you kids say is apologies these days. So much so that my ears are gonna bleed from listening to the same thing over and over." Sherry teased me as she chuckled but I still couldn't look her in the eye.

I had boasted I would be able to take care of Genny for a couple of hours and in those very couple of hours, I almost dropped her baby to the ground. And got her all stressed out with the whole situation.

"You don't have to worry about it. You protected her until the very end, right? Also, it's Tyler's fault, to begin with. I'm just glad you both are okay." Sherry consoled me.

Oh right, Tyler.

How is he?

"How-how is he?" I inquired and I finally looked up at Sherry expectantly and she chuckled for some reason.

"You finally looked up. You both only ever react or go to extremes when it comes to each other. Geez, when will you both be true to your own feelings? Right, Genny?"

Sherry tickled Genny a little and her chortle as if dissipated the tension around us.

"He's fine. Just reflecting on what he did. Instead I should be the one who should be apologizing to you. I'm sorry my idiot of a brother did something extremely stupid. I'll make sure to reprimand him properly later." Sherry apologized shyly.

"No, it's not your fault Sherry. Please don't apologize!"

I waved my hands clumsily mid air asking her not to apologize and she caught them as if I was caught in a bear trap.

"Then we're even." She grinned and pulled on my hand as she stood up, "Let's go outside for a bit then?"

I nodded, "Yeah."
