CHAPTER 58

MINGYU'S POV.

I woke up early that day so I immediately take a bath and get dressed before going down to my room. Just as I was coming down, I saw the servants preparing breakfast. Dad and mom on the other hand, just sat quietly while busy in their own world.

They did not immediately notice my presence until I sat down in one of the chairs. It made a little noise that caught their attention. They all turned to me and look at me in surprise.

"Mingyu?” Mom called my name. I turned to her and smiled.

"I'm sorry," I laughed and sat up from my chair. "I forgot to greet you two." I kissed them on the cheek and said good morning before sitting back.

"Are you really Mingyu?" It made me chuckle from the way Mom asked me. Both of them only stared at me in surprised.

"Yes, it's me Mom. Let's eat?" I asked after the helpers lay the food on the dining table. We soon started to eat as the dining room fell silent. Only the noise of our food could be heard.

"It's good that you thought about leaving your room. This mom of yours has been worried about you for a few weeks." Dad started the conversation. I stopped eating and looked at the plate in front of me. 

"Dear.." I heard mom reprimand. I swallowed the food in my mouth before smiling and facing him.

"I came to realized that nothing good would happen to me if I will cry for the rest of my life and locked myself in a room." And shifted my gazes to my mom. "I also know that Wonwoo won't be happy. "  

Mom reached for my hand and held it. "I'm glad."

We both smiled at each other before we proceeded to eat the food. As soon we finished, I found myself on the living room with my Mom and Dad. The three of us were talking happily and nothing to seems bothered us like before.

"Hey, Mom." She looked at me after I called for her name. "I want to meet Wonwoo.."

She beamed at me before nodding her head. "Yeah, sure. Why not? Let's pay him a visit. Go prepare yourself."

As soon she said that, I immediately left to take a bath.

While inside of the car, sitting silently on the passenger seat, looking out from the window, I can't help but think how will I face him nor what will I talk with him. I looked down on my hands and played with my fingers. Suddenly, my eyes landed on my ring. I slowly caressed it gently as a small smile curved upon my lips.

The drive took two hours before we finally arrived at the sementery where they buried Wonwoo. We hopped out immediately after dad parked the car. Carrying the bouquet of roses, I couldn’t help but fall into deep thought and feel intense nervousness.

This is the first time I have been able to visit Wonwoo since he disappeared. I couldn’t help but sweat on any part of my body as we walked down the path.

"You will be fine, Sweetie." Mom said as she appeared besides me, patting my shoulders and smiling at me.

I just nodded as an answer. We also walked for a few minutes to our destination until we arrived. From not far away, I saw a group of young people while in front of a grave stone. They also seem to visit whoever they are visiting.

However, as I got closer and closer to them, I could gradually see their faces so I could gradually familiarize them. When their attention came to us, I only now found out that they were my friends and the reason why they're here to the cemetery was none other than the one I loved.

They all smiled at me and greeted me with a hug. "Hey!"

"Finally! You decided to leave your room. Are you done watching porn?" One of the guys smacked Jun from what he said. I only laughed and hugged them back. Gosh, I missed them.
